Searcy has been having one of the best rushing seasons of any back across the NCS, and is in a prime position to have another stellar week in the NCS Open-Division finals on Friday night against De La Salle. In the opening round of the NCS playoffs, Searcy had another strong performance rushing for 165 yards and 2 scores, in a 35-14 win over Clayton Valley. The Senior rusher remains committed to Washington State, but picked up a Cal offer back in the middle of October making him one of the more interesting prospects to watch as we near the first national signing day, and will be a big time steal for whoever he ends up signing with as he has been under-recruited as well through his prep career.

Thompson has had a busy few games after stacking big time performances in recent weeks and is coming off a big time win over California high 35-7. Thompson threw for over 250 yards and 4 scores in that contest and has shown why SRV could make a deep run coming up in December. He has been one of the better and more efficient passers across northern California this season and has done a great job at spreading the ball around to multiple weapons on the outside, while also using his legs when needed.

Thompson has the Wolves primed to win a section title on Friday night and could very well be on a path to a CIF State Title. The 6'5" signal caller also shut down his recruitment and has committed to Bryant University in the beginning of the month, taking one of Norcals best passers off the board as we near the first national signing day.

Dukes was one of the top rushers across the CCS since his freshman campaign for Palma last season and has been one of the top rushers through the regular season this year as well. He is one of the more explosive athletes and natural ball carriers across northern California regardless of class, and still has two more years in his prep career. Palma squared off against Sacred Heart in the opening round of the CCS D2 bracket, and Dukes showed out once again rushing for 165 yards and 2 scores in the 28-19 opening round win.

Akery has quietly been one of the better passers across the CCS this Fall, and has put up some solid numbers in his Junior season. He will be one of the top returning passers next Fall, and has done a good job at the helm for Willow Glenn. He has another massive performance in the opening round of the playoffs, passing for 300+ yards and 3 scores in a narrow 12 point loss to a very good Aptos squad. Heading into next season he will have no shortage of weapons to throw to and should be on D3 schools radars by this time next year.

McMahan has been one of the top rushers across the entire state since his Sophomore campaign for the Mustangs, and put together a stellar senior season this fall going out with perhaps one of his best performances of the year. Although suffering a tough overtime loss to Bishop O'Dowd in the opening round of the NCS playoffs, the Washington commit rushed for 300+ yards and broke the single game rushing record at Monte Vista with that performance. The senior star rushed for over 1,100 yards and 18 touchdowns in his final season for the Mustangs, and is one of the better running backs the Bay Area has seen in recent years.

Fitzgerald has been a true workhorse for San Mateo this season and was a big reason why they were able to win eight games before falling to a loaded Carmel team in the first round of the CCS playoffs. He is a no brainer D3+ caliber player on both sides of the ball and could see some schools come in and offer here down the stretch before signing day. The senior rusher ran for over 1,300 yards and averaged over 7 YPC in his final season and went out with another stellar performance rushing for 200+ yards and a score in a narrow 56-46 loss to Carmel.
