NIAA 4A State Championship Preview

<p>On Tuesday, 11/26, at Allegiant Stadium, Mojave High School and Canyon Springs will crown a new 4A state champion. Here is an inside look at the top three players to watch for each program. </p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Mojave HS Players to Watch</h2>   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2024/11/1500x500.jpg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1565353" /></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1209600' first='AJ' last='Williams'] has been the offensive general for Mojave at the QB position all season long. Although AJ is a more natural pass catcher, the senior stepped up at QB to help lead Mojave to a historic season and a trip to Allegiant Stadium. If [player_tooltip player_id='1209600' first='AJ' last='Williams'] can make explosive plays on offense, Mojave's defense will anchor the team and hold up the trophy on Tuesday. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">AJ Tuitele has been the guy for Mojave on offense and defense this season. The senior Washington St. Commit has dominated all season long and makes it impossible for opposing offenses to run the ball up the middle. Tuitele has also made big-time plays as an RB. The senior is big, strong, fast, and instinctive and will look to dominate at Allegiant and finish what he started. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Vaimaona has proven to be one of the best linemen and pass rushers this season. The senior DE has been a mainstay for the elite Mojave defense and has set the edge all season in the run game and put opposing QBs under pressure posting 7 sacks this season. Vaimaona should be on several scout's recruiting lists and will prove it at Allegiant Stadium on Tuesday. </p>    <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Canyon Springs HS Players To Watch </h2>   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepredzone.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/3/2024/11/9-18-HS-FaceBook.jpg?w=960" alt="" class="wp-image-1565359" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption">Photo: Joe Arrigo, <a href="https://franchisesportsmedia.com/" target="_blank">Franchise Sports Media</a></figcaption></figure>    <p class="text-gray-700">Divens has flown under the radar but his performance this season has scouts turning heads and noticing the talented defender. Canyon Springs has had a historic season with a defense led by Divens flying all over the field. Divens has had 9 sacks, over 60 tackles, and a couple of interceptions this season and although undersized, Divens has the speed and big play-making ability to be a big-time player for a college. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Canyon Springs has a tough task going against one of the best defensive units in the state on Tuesday. For them to find success they will need to stretch the field through the air with big-time playmaker and talent [player_tooltip player_id='1216300' first='Major' last='Pride']. Major is a long and explosive receiver who has the ability and frame to play at the D1 level. Major will get to show the city his talent on Tuesday at Allegiant Stadium. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">[player_tooltip player_id='1660283' first='Bakari' last='Wilson'] has made his talent known this season rushing for over 1,000 yards. Wilson has elite speed and explosiveness out of the back field and is a threat to break for a touchdown every time he gets the ball. Wilson will face his toughest test yet going against the best run-stopping defense in the 4A division on Tuesday but look for Wilson to continue to prove why he is one of the top RB prospects in the class of 2027. </p>
