Tuitele was the biggest riser in the latest and final update to PRZ NV’s 2025 rankings with the elite traits he showed at LB for the 2024 4A state champs. Led the state in total tackles as a senior with 196 to go along with 39 TFLs and 5 sacks. Packs ideal size, athleticism, and range at 6’3″/205 with the potential to develop into a physical sideline-to-sideline tackler for the Trojans. Tuitele had a whirlwind recruiting process that included picking up his first seven D-I offers in October and a commitment to Washington St. prior to HC Jake Dickert’s departure, before signing with USC on February’s NSD.

Tuitele picked up his biggest offers to-date from USC and Texas this month after reopening his recruitment following the coaching changes at Washington St. The #5-LB in Nevada’s 2025 class is the top prospect on the board after putting together a massive season for the 4A state champs last season. Racked up 139 total tackles, 39 TFLs, and 5 sacks as a senior. Tuitele’s an elite-level LB to keep an eye on as the 2025 recruiting cycle winds down.

Tuitele announced he was decomitting from Washington St. after the coaching changes and opened his recruiting back up. This looks to be a good move for the senior 4A state champion because USC has made the most recent offer to Tuitele. Tuitele has great size, athleticism, and instincts to be a big-time play in college and it will be exciting to see where he eventually signs to in the coming weeks.

AJ Tuitele has been the guy for Mojave on offense and defense this season. The senior Washington St. Commit has dominated all season long and makes it impossible for opposing offenses to run the ball up the middle. Tuitele has also made big-time plays as an RB. The senior is big, strong, fast, and instinctive and will look to dominate at Allegiant and finish what he started.

Tuitele was the state’s biggest recruiting riser this month after picking up his first seven D-I offers from Arizona, Washington St., Sacramento St., Portland St., New Mexico, New Mexico St., and Utah Tech. The 6’3″/205 LB showed flashes of potential as a sophomore and has rapidly ascended up Nevada’s 2025 LB ranks with the massive senior season he’s put together. Tuitele ranks second in the state in total tackles with 143 to go along with 36 TFLs and 4 sacks. He’s a rangy, violent tackler that possesses all the physical tools of a future three-down LB at the P-4 level. Expect Tuitele to continue to add to his growing offer list heading down the stretch towards Early Signing Day.
First and foremost, I would like to give glory to our heavenly father. After a great talk with @coachgonz , I am blessed to receive an offer from the University of Arizona.

Tuitele has shown more of the flashes he put on tape as a sophomore that helped him land on PRZ NV’s 2025 WL. The 6’3″/205 ILB has looked stronger and more physical as a tackler while showing his versatility as both an off-ball defender and as an edge rusher. He holds an athletic build at 6’3″/205, shows good speed and lateral range tracking sideline-to-sideline, and can bend and change levels around the edge as a pass rusher. Tuitele- a two-sport athlete in basketball and football- is an underrated 2025 defender that should start to generate some traction on the recruiting trial in the coming months with the athleticism and versatility he offers.
