<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The end of the regular season did not disappoint. Tons of top #25 teams with playoff aspirations were pitted up against each other. A nice appetizer for the meaty playoffs to come. Today I will be discussing some of the offensive ballers who made a big impact on their respective teams. A lot of these players will be heading into the playoffs, so don't fret we still got more high school football on the way! Without further ado, let's dive into the player analysis!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Another reminder regarding the Stock Up Showcase! It happens with a month and if you use my code TATEPRZ2024 at checkout, you get $10 off! He's currently the leader in Colorado receiving yardage. The 5'11 180-pound senior had 8 receptions for 137 yards and 1 touchdown. Levi has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, balance, good speed, and good acceleration. When he starts to stumble, he regains composure for a big gain. His very good mental processing was on full display. He would find the open zone, and exploit it. Sitting in it for the easy completion. Hermsen shines after the catch. He uses his home run speed paired with very good balance to shrug defenders off. He uses his very good/smooth spin move to make them miss as well. He's a great possession receiver, with sticky hands to catch anything his way. Colleges need to look over at Hermsen, he'd be a great addition on any team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1406063"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-672e8d8f9b1e9"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Ending the regular season on a very positive note, Blais had 19 carries for 163 yards with 3 touchdowns. Through the air, he had 5 receptions for 66 yards. Blais has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good change of direction, speed, and good balance. Blais was on fire out in open space. Making defenders miss and using his home run speed to break free past the 2nd and 3rd level defense. Blais has very good vision, and hits them hard. He makes powerful cuts, and maintains his speed while doing it. Through the air, he used his good ball tracking and catching to be a consistent threat for his quarterback. He will look to continue this big night as Mountain Vista charges into the playoffs undefeated.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"[player_tooltip player_id='1634988' first='Tucker' last='Ingersoll']","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2027","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"6'2u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"190","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2409","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Pomona","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-672e8d8f9b287"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Ingersoll had his most touchdowns thrown in a game this season. The 6'2 190-pound sophomore threw for 12/16 for 276 yards and 5 touchdowns. Ingersoll has very good throw power, and it showed on a 56 yard bomb to his wide receiver. He has a quick zippy release, allowing him to thread the needle to his receiver. Ingersoll has good pocket awareness. Once the pocket started to degrade, he'd roll out left making an accurate throw. Very good throw on the run, including to his left. Ingersoll has good accuracy as well. Even under pressure, he goes through his progressions, finding the open man. He has good ball placement, leading his receiver keeping him in stride. This QB is only a sophomore and shows a ton of positive traits. Excited to see more!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["1215742"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-672e8d8f9b2cc"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Chatfield's freshman running back had a big night against the defending champs. The 5'9 155-pound back had 20 carries for 106 yards and 1 touchdown, with 1 catch for 10 yards. Leal has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, and change of direction. Leal has very good vision and mental processing. If the original gap isn't there, he will use dynamic cuts at the line of scrimmage to either cut outside or find a new gap. Leal has powerful legs to drive himself forward taking defenders with him. In the pass game, he used his good catching skills. He made himself open during the QB scramble drill. I'm very impressed with this freshman running back. He has a plethora of traits that will propel him further.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":["not_in_db"],"_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_selected_featured_image":"field_62cca28ffa4e7","player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"Xay Neto","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_player_name":"field_62aba4c9ecf2f","player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"2025","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_graduating_class":"field_62aba4ddecf30","player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"5'11u0022","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_height":"field_62aba4e8ecf31","player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"170","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_weight":"field_65b288425ecf6","player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"2410","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_position":"field_62aba4f0ecf32","player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"Grandview","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_school":"field_62aba4fdecf33","player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details_club_team":"field_62d20e723441a","player_evaluations_0_player_details":"","_player_evaluations_0_player_details":"field_62aba4afecf2e","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-672e8d8f9b348"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">Back-to-back weeks for Mr. Neto. This time the 5'11 170-pound senior had 5 receptions for 153 yards and 2 touchdowns, against Cherry Creek!! He has very good athletic ability due to his elite acceleration, change of direction, very good speed, and jumping. Neto has very good release versus both against the press jam and off coverage. He uses leverage to beat the wide receiver, including his quick feet with the 1,2 shake movement. Neto is a very crisp route runner.  His catching skills was on full display. Neto used his very good ball tracking skills to identify the ball, then plucked it out of the air. Either in front of the DB, or behind him. He has very good body control. Neto goes up to make the catch, not worried about getting hit. After the catch, he uses his homerun speed to blaze past both the 2nd and 3rd level of defenses. Again, I can't stress this enough. Neto would be an excellent addition to any program looking to bolster their receiving core with a deep threat.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["757207"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-672e8d8f9b386"} --> <!-- wp:paragraph {"placeholder":"Add evaluation here...","className":"text-gray-700"} --> <p class="text-gray-700">McCarty ended his regular season on a good note. He showed out against one of the best teams in the state. The junior went 16/27 for 262 yards, 3 touchdowns and 1 interception. There's a ton to like about this game. He has a cannon for an arm. His very good throw power and very good release allows him to make any throw needed. McCarty has very good accuracy. He'll thread the needle between multiple defenders throwing it where only his receiver can catch it. Very good ball placement too. He throws it to meet his receiver in stride. One play that stood out to me was, he threw an accurate ball while getting hit. McCarty isn't afraid of pressure, and stands tall even when he gets thrashed by the defensive lineman. I'm very impressed with this junior!</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
