As I said yesterday, the class of 2027 has a ton of great QBs. This class is shaping out to be a good one and a very deep one. Although I have yet to find even a third of the QBs that will eventually be on these rankings, I have found several very high-upside players, including the ones in this article. Today, I'll be quickly evaluating the #6-#10 Ranked QBs, in reverse order.

By all accounts, Wynn had a highly successful 2024 season. On top of that, Wynn has good 2024 highlights with great variety.

In his playoff game against Saginaw Heritage, Wynn completed a number of great passes. His first highlight shows a great quick pass to the opposite (right) hash, fitting the ball between two defenders alongside good throw power. At 0:15, Wynn delivers a well-timed strike to the corner route.

Wynn has very good throw power and flashes great timing. However, his mechanics can be a bit inconsistent, and I honestly don't know as much about Wynn as I do the 9 QBs currently ranked above him. This offseason, I'd love to see Wynn compete. He has a great shot at getting a rankings boost come february!

Bryce has solidified himself as a very solid QB in the class of 2027. Running the Caledonia offense, Bryce excels throwing outside of the pocket. He has several instances of good, on-schedule deep balls both from inside the pocket and on the run. Even better, a lot of those deep balls were thrown to crossing routes while Bryce was on the run, which is a VERY difficult throw to complete.

Moving forward, I'm looking to see what Bryce shows this offseason. I'm looking for consistent mechanics alongside better demonstrating throws to all parts of the field. Right now, Bryce's highlights aren't that diverse. Seeing him throw in a 7on7 setting would set the record straight on his updated evaluation.

Right now, I view Bryce as a future D3 Quarterback.

James has shown some good flashes this season. His sophomore varsity highlights show pretty much exactly what I saw from James this past offseason. At his best, James stands strong in the pocket and delivers a quick strike to his receiver.

His highlights also have good variety. James has a couple of deep throws, sideline throws, quick game, off-schedule, etc. There are a couple instances where James throws to the sideline just over a defender, which is impressive.

James still has a few things to work on. For one, James could throw the ball with a bit more zip. I'd also like him to build off his already good athleticism. Right now, I'd say that James is a future D3 quarterback, but there's no question that he has D2 upside.

Charlie just completed a very successful Sophomore campaign, throwing for 1965 passing yards with 15TDs and 67% completion.

Charlie's tape shows a lot of great deep balls. Through the first minute of his sophomore highlights, Charlie shows off several pretty well-placed deep balls. He's hitting his receivers in stride while consistently underthrowing the ball just a tad. Charlie is able to consistently attack the middle of the field, throwing over DBs and LBs alike. Although I love his deep game, I'd like to see more short-middle field throws. I know that Charlie has the skill to complete those throws, and I also understand that the GRC offense may ask Charlie to throw the ball downfield a ton.

My gut says Charlie will be a Fringe D2 Prospect. It's super, super hard to stand out at QB, and while I know he has great skill, it's not at the near-elite level just yet.

Jack doesn't have any film from this season, but he's shown enough from the previous season and offseason to make me feel good about this #6 ranking. His JV tape shows very good athleticism and consistent accuracy. With a clean pocket, Jack is able to make any throw to any part of the field.

Time will tell what I think about his 2024 tape. Either way, I know that Jack has great size and great talent. As long as he keeps up the offseason work, he'll be a solid D2 prospect when it's all said and done.
