Charlie and his GRC team had a great 2025. Charlie is putting in the work to make 2026 even better for himself and his squad. His performance at WSQ was a great indicator of that.
-Great deep ball, really good touch and arm strength
-Quick and concise throwing motion and clean footwork
-Coachable, which is why is football IQ is superior to a lot of QBs in his class
Charlie is as steady as they come. Confidence in a ranking comes with repeated, consistent in-person evaluations. Although Charlie was not my priority, I saw enough of him to further solidify my opinion of him.
This is a QB who should be a solid prospect in a year’s time. I don’t see D1 suff from Charlie, but D2 and D3 are absolutely in play. He’s got his mechanics down- very consistent on this front. Throw power, accuracy, and timing are all on par with other D2-potential Class of 2027 QBs.
Charlie just completed a very successful Sophomore campaign, throwing for 1965 passing yards with 15TDs and 67% completion.
Charlie’s tape shows a lot of great deep balls. Through the first minute of his sophomore highlights, Charlie shows off several pretty well-placed deep balls. He’s hitting his receivers in stride while consistently underthrowing the ball just a tad. Charlie is able to consistently attack the middle of the field, throwing over DBs and LBs alike. Although I love his deep game, I’d like to see more short-middle field throws. I know that Charlie has the skill to complete those throws, and I also understand that the GRC offense may ask Charlie to throw the ball downfield a ton.
My gut says Charlie will be a Fringe D2 Prospect. It’s super, super hard to stand out at QB, and while I know he has great skill, it’s not at the near-elite level just yet.

now at QB1, GRC could have a resurgent season. In my couple of times watching Charlie this offseason, it’s become apparent that he’s way ahead of the curve. His mechanics and throwing motion are quite consistent, leading to better accuracy and a sense of confidence. As for arm talent, I don’t think Charlie is the strongest QB, but I absolutely don’t think it limits him. This season, Charlie should focus on playing calm, confidently, and consistently. If he’s able to do that, Charlie will emerge as one of the top QBs in the OK Conference.
