Edmond Santa Fe running back and Arizona State commit [player_tooltip player_id='188013' first='Demarius' last='Robinson'] has definitely been one of the best running backs in Oklahoma for all four years of his high school career. There aren't many players (regardless of position) that can say the same thing. Robinson burst onto the scene as a freshman, going against some of the top competition in Class 6A-1 and he answered the call. As a sophomore, he was limited because of an injury but when he was on the field, he was a game changer. Last year, he came back as one of the best players in the state and this season, it's much of the same. Robinson is definitely one of the more consistent playmakers in the state and it's shown for four years now.

North Rock Creek standout [player_tooltip player_id='593641' first='Caleb' last='Hawkins'] has been a really good player for a while now but might have flown under the radar because he's at a very new program. Hawkins got on our radar following his sophomore season and then elevated his game again during his junior year, leading North Rock Creek to their first ever playoff appearance. This season, there's no doubt in our mind that he's become one of the best overall players in Oklahoma and that's on both sides of the ball. It seems like every week, Hawkins is running for 200-250 yards and four touchdowns. The game definitely looks like it's become easy for Hawkins, who committed to North Texas earlier this year.

Laverne running back [player_tooltip player_id='294264' first='Felix' last='Teal'] has been a prospect we've been high on since his freshman season. Teal is one of the more dynamic players in Oklahoma but might be flying under the radar because he is an 8-man football superstar. We've seen Teal in games as well as in camps against really good competition and it doesn't matter to us what level of football he's playing. He's one of the smaller running backs in this class but that also doesn't matter. He has a ton of experience in the weight room and is a powerlifter. He's not just a speedster in the open field but he can deliver a blow with some power if it comes down to it. He's been one of the most productive players in the state's 2025 class.

Bristow running back [player_tooltip player_id='917724' first='Darien' last='Dansby'] is another 2025 running back that brings a wealth of experience to the table. It feels like he's been starting for Bristow for six years by now but he continues to elevate his game and this season is the perfect example of that. Coming into this season, we thought that Dansby was a nice player that had some potential on either side of the ball at running back or linebacker. This season, he's been one of the best running backs in Class 3A and he's a big reason why Bristow looks like a dark horse to make some noise when the playoffs begin next week. You can't argue with the production or the versatility from a player like Dansby, who has excelled in multiple offenses.

Over the last two seasons, we've seen moments from Heritage Hall running back [player_tooltip player_id='434307' first='Barrett' last='Travis'] that made us think he could be one of the better workhorse running backs in this class. But in 2022, he was number two on the depth chart and last year, they had the best dual-threat quarterback in the state. So the opportunities were limited until this season. And Travis has taken full advantage of being the leader in the backfield for the Chargers this season. He's had multiple games where he was that workhorse running back that we saw flashes of in the last two years. He's definitely one of the more improved running backs in the class and should get an opportunity to play somewhere at the next level.
