Returning from injury earlier in the South County stud lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1230259' first='Jordan' last='Muhanyi'] stepped up in a big way. Due to a plethora injuries the Stallions had Muhanyi on both sides of the ball later in the year and he adapted quite well. Earning first team all Patriot district honors, the senior can come in play right away. Interest from Division 2 and up should start to come in for this big man, he is 6'3 and still growing. Another prospect who gets in done in the classroom he has a 3.5 GPA!

The offensive player of the year in the Patriot District [player_tooltip player_id='1474182' first='Amin' last='Moumen'] was tremendous in his final season for the Fairfax Lions. Moumen earned that honor as he stepped up when his squad needed him too with a few injury setbacks the Lions had suffered. A home run hitter every time he touches the football the senior unfortunately will not be playing in the playoffs due to an injury he just suffered. Nonetheless his work at running back earned him the right to get offers for his play on both sides of the ball. Moumen was also a first team defensive back selection and I think that's the position he will play at the next level. I am not sure if he is looking to play college football but if so then he should have amply opportunities.

A 3 year starting quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1404795' first='Moises' last='Perez'] made a big leap in his final season for the Unity Reed Lions. Perez was the leader under center as the Lions finished 3-7 and were much more competitive in the Cedar Run district. For those that are not aware this districts has three of the top teams in the state for Class 6 and Perez battled them all. His touchdown to interception ratio improved drastically and he was much more accurate this fall. While he may not play quarterback at the next level he is talented enough to play multiple positions.

Northern Virginia is in my opinion loaded with at the quarterback position for the class of 2025 and [player_tooltip player_id='1233661' first='Matthew' last='Abramson'] had arguably the best season out of this entire group. With guys such as [player_tooltip player_id='372517' first='Isaiah' last='French'], [player_tooltip player_id='1155979' first='Colton' last='Kilmer'] and [player_tooltip player_id='1231457' first='Tyler' last='Knutson'] in the area that really is saying something. Abramson has lead Washington-Liberty to a perfect regular season and the Generals are sure to be one of the favorites to bring home a state title. Throwing for 27 touchdowns and only 8 interceptions this dude has been on point all year. He deserves opportunities at the next level and I personally think many division 2 schools (paging the PSAC conference) should be all over him.

The two time offensive player of the year running back [player_tooltip player_id='1362821' first='Mark-Anthony' last='Whyte'] always seems to show for the Spartans when it matters most. West Springfield went through injuries and position changes on offense but Whyte remained their go to option. Achieving the 1,000 yard rushing mark for the second straight year, he is one of the quickest backs in the state.

One of my favorite players in recent memory, Woodbridge's [player_tooltip player_id='1506589' first='Salmana' last='Massaquoi'] took the Cardinal District by storm in 2024. Making big play week in and week out, he helped guide the Vikings to the first district title in over a decade. I saw it up close when he nearly won their game against Forest Park by himself, the young man makes a difference. He has breakaway speed and is exceptional in the open field making countless defenders look foolish. A fun player to be around he had five touchdowns this fall and will be a dangerous matchup against North Stafford this Friday.

I have been profiling articles on Resto for two years now and believe he could be a successful quarterback at the next level. Apparently Lane College agrees with me as they just offered him yesterday which was awesome to see. Resto had an excellent senior year for Virginia Academy and I believe more division 2 schools will come calling very soon!

Perhaps a bit overlooked on a Yorktown team loaded on offense is [player_tooltip player_id='1407346' first='Max' last='Troiano']. Each time I watched their film he is always making plays at both tight end and defensive end. Troiano is 6'4 and 225 lbs. who runs really well, I saw him take a misdirection snap the distance in person. You can't tell me he can't play at least division 2 if not higher, he has all the traits you would want. 9 total touchdowns in his final season for the Patriots is impressive, Troiano is a special player that deserves offers.
