Yorktown vs Langley Players to Watch

<p>I will be covering this Liberty District showdown between the Yorktown Patriots (5-2) and the Langley Saxons (6-1). The Saxons a Patriot squad that seems be on track offensively and Langley suffered their first setback last week in their loss to Marshall. On paper this looks like a very even matchup across the board, which I cannot wait to cover! Here are a few players to watch below:</p>    <p class="text-gray-700">Been high on Mr. Owens for over two years and he is coming off maybe his best game this fall in the Patriots win last week. [player_tooltip player_id='855053' first='Brady' last='Owens'] knocks you around and then can spring out for a quick reception too. He can stretch the field and I am confident [player_tooltip player_id='1199699' first='Drew' last='Morgan'] will look his way early to get him going tonight. I enjoy the way Coach Hanson maneuvers all the talent Yorktown has offensively, with Troaino they use him in a variety of roles. He too has good hands and can stretch the field at 6'4 and 225 lbs.. One of the leaders in the state in receiving yards, [player_tooltip player_id='1407336' first='Finn' last='Luca'] has a chance to reach 1,000 yards receiving by seasons end. </p>   <figure class="wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter"><div class="wp-block-embed__wrapper"> https://twitter.com/finn_luca9/status/1843767992079003664 </div></figure>     <p class="text-gray-700">Running back [player_tooltip player_id='1407345' first='Coby' last='Casalengo'] is the lead back for the Patriots offense and he may reach the 1,000 yard rushing plateau tonight in Langley. A straight north/south runner who knows how to lower the boom, Casalengo recruiting has seen a significant spike in recent weeks. Already with an offer from Averett University, similar schools such as Concord University and Wilkes are interested. They all would be wise to follow Averett's lead in offer Casalengo, he is a perfect back for any of those institutions. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1298294' first='Cole' last='Samburg'] is having a phenomenal senior season for the Saxons, he has consistently been one of top performers at hi position. He will give defensive coordinators fits the way he moves around in the pocket, the young man can really throw well on the run. He is 6'2 and 180 lbs. really physical player who will win a lot of jump balls thrown his direction. Curious to see how he does tonight defensively with all the weapons Yorktown has at their disposal. I wonder if they will line up Clarke over Owens which would be quite entertaining. </p>     <p class="text-gray-700">Fun kid to watch for the Saxons is linebacker/running back [player_tooltip player_id='1532618' first='Hudson' last='Eberline'], the junior gets after it on both sides of the ball. At linebacker he typically is their weekly leader in tackles and he had an outstanding game in their comeback win over Wakefield. He is athletic enough in coverage and always seems to be the first one to the football.
