Carson is one of the top backs across all of Idaho, and was one of the top returning rushers heading into the 2024 season as a Junior. He is a very balanced and bruising runner that gets vertical quickly, shows good short area quickness in tight windows and vision at the first level with cutback abilities as well. He also shows an open field gear, can make defenders take bad angles in space and shows tremendous contact balance through traffic in the box and is very tough to take down in one on one situations. In week 9 on Friday night he rushed for just over 130 yards and 3 scores, bringing his season rushing total to over 1,300 yards and 13 scores on the ground, good for one of the best in the state of Idaho.

Avella has been one of the top passers across Idaho this season, and will lead Bishop Kelly into the state playoff's once again, where they should be the frontrunner to take home yet again another state title. He has ideal size for the position, a strong arm and plus accuracy downfield and has really shown increased arm strength since his Sophomore season and the courage to fit it into tight windows downfield this year. In the final week of the regular season, Avella was efficient and threw for nearly 200 yards and 2 scores, while adding another score with his legs on the ground. He will be a name to note as we move through the post season, and should put up some impressive performances through out the playoff's leading to the 5-A state title game.

Clay will be entering into our rankings in the final 2025 update after having a truly breakout senior season for Capital and has established himself as a sure fire D3+ college caliber prospect. He is a very explosive athlete with the ball in his hands that can play both on the outside, in the slot or in the backfield and offers tremendous position versatility on both sides of the ball. Clay shows he is a natural pass catcher over the top with tracking abilities in traffic and does a nice job at fitting into tight windows from the backfield while also showing true open field speed in the clear with the skills to make defenders miss in space. In week 9, he had perhaps the best showing across all of Idaho where he went for nearly 300 all-purpose yards and 5 scores. One on offense, one on defense and one on special teams with a kick return for a score.

Reese has been one of the top rushers across the state of Idaho since his Sophomore season, and leads the backfield for the top team in the state so far this season. Through the final week of the prep season, he has rushed for 700 yards and 10 touchdowns, while adding another 234 yards receiving and 2 scores. He is a very complete back with good vision, initial burst and contact balance through the first two levels and shows he is a natural pass catcher out of the backfield that gets upfield quickly and is effective after the catch. In the final prep season against Eagle he had over 100 all-purpose yards and 2 scores and will be a focal point moving forward in the post season where Rocky Mountain should make a deep run and be there at the end.

Travis checks into our rankings as a top 5 running back in this 2025 class, and he has been off to a nice Senior season so far this season for New Plymouth. He is an elusive and twitchy ball carrier with good vision in tight windows, cutback abilities and can make defenders miss in the hole while showing an open field burst in the clear as well. He has some pass catching abilities out of the backfield as well, and is a mismatch against man coverage against linebackers and safeties in the flats and downfield. Travis had a stellar Week 9 performance where he rushed for 265 yards and 3 scores against Melba, and has rushed for over 700+ yards and 8 scores so far this season, good for one of the better rushing totals on the year across Idaho.

Lewis is one of the top recruits across the state of Idaho in the 2026 class, and already holds offers from both hometown Idaho and Idaho State. He is a twitchy pass catcher that is an elite route runner with outstanding hands, tracking abilities over the top and has true seperation speed downfield while a true vertical threat. Lewis has strong hands when making contested catches, and can beat man coverage with his release and body control when working off routes. He is one of the better offensive playmakers across the Idaho/PNW region in the 2026 class and should be a 8+ offer kid by this time next year. He had a big week 9 on Friday night where he erupted for 2 pick six's in a big time 1 point win over league opponent Owyhee and will now lead Timberline into the playoffs.
