Northern Nevada’s Week 6 Standouts

The senior RB has been one of the most productive rushers in the state this season with nearly 800 yards and 10 TDs through six games. He's a quick, shifty ball-carrier that can knife through the tight areas around the LOS. He shows his toughness finishing runs through defenders but has a tendency to initiate contact too upright- would like to see him deploy a more consistent pad level as we get into the later stages of the season. The senior LB has been putting his name on the northern Nevada radar with his productive play this season. He's a long, rangy perimeter tackler that's shown promising closing speed to the ball and the ability to play in space. The junior QB also rushed for 45 yards in the win. He showed the power in his arm making off-schedule throws outside the pocket and got the ball out on-time on screens and quick-hitters. He's an above-average athlete for the QB position that can move the pocket and keep the defense honest with his legs. The 6'2"/190 senior ATH is one of the most versatile players in northern Nevada with his playmaking ability on offense and the physicality he provides on defense. He offers notable upside as a defensive prospect with potential to play either SS or a STAR/hybrid LB role at the next level.
