Kermode has continued to flash his unique versatility as Galena’s QB1 and leading tackler from his S spot. The fourth-ranked ATH in PRZ NV’s 2025 class has thrown for over 1,600 yards and a 20:6 TD:INT ratio while posting 102 tackles, 9 TFLs, and 2 INTs on defense. Likely fits in as a run-support S with coverage upside at the next level but has proven his ability to spread the ball around and threaten defenses with his legs as a multi-year starter. He’s a physical player as a tackler and with the ball in his hands and is a clear difference-maker on both sides of the ball for Galena. Kermode holds an offer from Nevada and recently took a gameday visit to the Wolfpack back in October.

Kermode totaled over 270 yards of offense and 2 TDs and racked up 19 total tackles in the Grizzlies’ 16-13 win over Damonte Ranch in the 5A D-III regional. Galena’s senior QB/S was a gamechanger on defense showing his downhill physicality and high motor to the football and was productive on offense with both his arm and his legs. Kermode’s versatility and playmaking on both sides of the ball has put Galena in the 5A D-III championship in back-to back-seasons. They’ll face Centennial in the 5A D-III final on Monday, Nov. 25th at Bishop Gorman HS.

Kermode was in Reno for Nevada’s 42-37 win over Oregon St. this past weekend. The Wolfpack were the first program to offer the two-way ATH back in 2022 and have continued to stay involved in his recruitment. Kermode likely fits in as a SS at the next level with his physical frame (6’2″/190) and ability to tackle in space- he leads Galena’s defense with 66 total tackles and 2 INTs on the season.

Kermode passed for 283 yards and 5 TDs and recorded 15 total tackles on defense in Galena’s 49-7 win over North Valleys. The 6’2″/190 senior ATH is one of the most versatile players in northern Nevada with his playmaking ability on offense and the physicality he provides on defense. He offers notable upside as a defensive prospect with potential to play either SS or a STAR/hybrid LB role at the next level. Look for Kermode to potentially add to his Nevada offer by the end of the season.
