A two-sport athlete who averaged over 12 points on the hardwood as a junior, Ben Imse Ben Imse 6'3" | 205 lbs | TE Galena | 2025 State NV had quite a productive season on the football field as well. He averaged over 12 yards per catch and found his way into the endzone five times on his way to leading Galena in receiving yards. His athleticism shines as he jumps out of his shoes to get to passes before defenders can and he has the strength and balance to break out of tackles once he does get the ball in his hands. Not often asked to line up at the line of scrimmage, Imse is a bit of a tight end-wide receiver hybrid who can still block for his running backs when he’s asked to. He’s a player coaches should keep their eye on as he works through his final high school season.

Imse’s a big target at 6’3”/210 that’s mostly been used at WR but likely fits in as a TE at the next level. He offers TE upside in his receiving skillset with strong ball skills and the ability to use his body effectively to out-physical defenders at the catch point. He tracks the ball well, has strong hands, and can adjust his body to the ball. Imse- who totaled 31 catches for 450 yards and 2 TDs as a junior- should continue to be a focal point in Galena’s passing game this season.

Ben Imse Ben Imse 6'3" | 205 lbs | TE Galena | 2025 State NV had a standout junior season, and I am confident recruiters will have him slotted in as a top WR prospect in Reno this fall. Be on the lookout for coaches to be in contact before his senior season begins. Coaches like Ben’s instincts, toughness, and tackling ability on defense; With Ben’s productivity and instinctiveness displayed on defense, I am starting to think he will be recruited on both sides of the ball during his senior year. Still, I was impressed with Ben’s improved strength and balance at the catchpoint during 2023. I believe his size, adjustment ability, and ability to catch in traffic will keep him on the offensive side of the ball; With good length, athleticism, and strong hands Ben has the ability to develop into a versatile pass catcher at the next level.
