Quite the line from Week Six alone. 13 tackles, 8 TFLs, .5 sack. Tack on an interception and four pancakes, this against Central Mountain. Competition level might not excite anyone, Bender's size might not either, standing at 5'10, weighing 205 pounds. Not exactly standout measurables for a two-way trench player, yet his tape makes you feel better about his potential prospects.

SAM backer, most if not all of his defensive production comes from this alignment. Linebacker looks to be his natural position, with [player_tooltip player_id='1508947' first='Willie' last='Bender'] being one of those rare prospects who play LB and OL, likely out of necessity. Usually, emergency options inside the OL unit are a liability, Bender might actually be the one of Shikellamy's better options. A sophomore who is piling up production and getting experience that will likely help him develop down the line. OL play will help Bender better understand gap scheme as a backer, backer play will help him when aligned at OG too. If Bender can work in the weight room, he could be a real candidate to play college ball in the future.

Quarterback prospect over at Central Valley. 3.7 GPA. 6'0, 160 pounds, up five pounds since we last checked in. Had a monstrous game back in Week 3, which I believe stood as the sophomore's first career start. 13/15, 220+ yards and five scores. The game against McGuffey obviously drew attention, but I'm more interested in what Ambrose has done since his breakout performance.

The only tape on Hudl post-McGuffey is a 30-second clip against Beaver HS. Ambrose tuck on a zone-read with his back for a big gain on the ground, Ambrose also took a snap as a holder, a snap he ended up throwing for a 2pt conversion. Steven Rutherford was the junior quarterback who led the way last Fall, he might still be the starter yet he doesn't have much tape on Hudl either, so I'm a bit out of the loop on snap counts. Both Rutherford and Ambrose are worthy of attention for different reasons. At it's current state, it's likely Ambrose hasn't shown enough on Hudl to land on our ranks if they were being re-done today. I bet that changes in due time.

Smith has a mid-season tape on Hudl consisting of his best plays form Weeks 1 through 5. Said tape starts off relatively well, with Smith dismantling IDLs from his center spot. Some great tech early on in reps, fantastic post-snap footwork that allows Smith to be in position to steer IDLs away from desired holes. Calm, not a center with happy feet. Strong grip and hands that strike where they need too, Smith consistently wins early, resulting in an impressive amount of pancackes caught on tape. Equally good a finisher as he is early off the snap. I had to remind myself that he's just a sophomore, a prospect with tape this good will end up on our rankings in due time. Interested in if he has any experience playing guard, although his current build is a suitable one for the center spot. Great start to his career at CRS.

Our previous measurables are out-dated. Mott is now 5'7, with an extra 20 pounds put on since our 140 listing some time ago. now at 168 pounds, Mott can be of service to Bishop Canevin, 140 wasn't cutting it. Is a Canevin basketball player from what I can tell, track sprinter as well.

The three-sport athlete has a first-three out on Hudl, along with a lengthy single-game against Cornell from Week Four. Nothing from the past two weeks, however, which isn't a problem. Now a starter at BC, Mott is well on his way of hopping off our Watchlist and becoming ranked beside his 2027 peers. First rep has Mott exploiting a weak box out of 12 personnel, a run out of the backfield Mott would take nearly 80 yards for a score. I immediately understand that the kid is a home-run hitting threat from anywhere on the field. Change of direction and balance skills are there already. Another rep proves Mott to be too much to handle in terms of speed for one DB, running by him on a post route after being split out wide. You can continue on and see his prowess as a kick returner too, scoring from this alignment as well. Wild-cat quarterback, Mott can score from this alignment. You probably get the point by now, this is quickly becoming a prospect who demands the football. Good things happen when you give him opportunities, the BC staff clearly understands that. Give him creative alignments and defenses will be forced to think twice. Mott's speed and explosiveness make it tough on defenders who are thinking. I lost track of the number of scores to his name. Mott is one of the better athletes on this list.

A freshman with impressive size and impressive tape to start off his career at Hopewell HS. 6'1, 215 pounds, triples as a back, wideout, and kick returner. Wouldn't be surprised to cut on the tape and see him work at backer with his measurables.

Rock doesn't have a mid-season tape out yet, which is a shame considering how much production he's put forth. Not a huge deal. I chose to watch Week's 0 and 5 to try to get a feel for the type of player Rock is. Week 0 - would open the game with a kick return for a score, says a lot that the coaching staff trusts a freshman to field kicks. Looks comfortable running out of I-formation sets. Patient, can read his lead blockers on the go and hit the gas when he needs too. A bigger back, but he does a good job making the first defender miss. I expected to see Rock serve as a backer, yet to my surprise his tape shows off EDGE/DE reps. Didn't expect to see Rock's hand in the dirt, I did expect his skill set to be too great to leave off the field. Rock caught a pass in this one too. Week 5 - ran for over 200 yards in this one. Scored from inside the five in this one, tough body to bring down in the red zone. A lot more outside zone runs in this one, looks good in open space. More of a rumbler than a burner but a ton of 20+ yard runs in this game.

Will rank well among his 2028 peers.

Local news reporting that Moore-Stewart has scored in all six games this year. 150+ rushing yards and 3 scores this past weekend. Has eclipsed the 600-yard mark from scrimmage already. 5'10, 175 pounds. 4.0 GPA as a freshman so far. Self-reports a 4.51 40 time, take that for what it's worth.

Breakdown coming after watching his mid-season tape, a tape showing off all of JMS's best reps through five weeks. First rep is a good one, Moore-Stewart proves he can win with toughness at the LOS. Nothing will come easy, seeing him work for his first rep, fight off a physical DB after his release all while staying true to his route path, JMS scores from 20 yards out. Explosive laterally, this gives you the idea that he's special with the ball in his hands, reps at running back are a must. DB reps are clearly a must as well, Moore-Stewart was witnessed playing the flat, breaking on a ball thrown to this zone, and picking it off for a score. Great improviser, the kid is a true play maker in every sense of the word. Can score at any alignment, can defend, and tackle in space. Some will question competition level up at Bloomsburg, you can't fault the kid for dominating in the fashion he has. Special start to his career either way. A surefire future rankee too.
