On offense, he flashed some great skills as a running back and as a wide receiver. At both positions, he was able to make big plays. He has legit speed, and he can score anytime he touches the ball. His ability to take a short pass and make it into a big play is special. An example from his film is his ability to run hitch routes. Several times, he caught short 5-yard catches and made defenders miss for big plays. He also showed this same ability as a running back to make defenders miss. Then, on defense, he showed a good ability to make plays as a defensive back. He recently visited Virginia Tech, but he currently has no offers. I expect he will eventually get some offers and have a good chance at playing College Football.

Bloomsburg moved him all over the field to try to get him in space. When he catches the ball, he can make defenders miss easily. Then, when he gets into the open field, he is off to the end zone because of how fast he is as a player. He catches the ball well and can turn up after he catches the ball to make defenders miss. When he runs the ball, he shows good explosion and an ability to make defenders miss. He also shows good physical ability to make defenders miss. Moore-Stewart is a talented athlete who has the skills to improve and play even better as well.

Local news reporting that Moore-Stewart has scored in all six games this year. 150+ rushing yards and 3 scores this past weekend. Has eclipsed the 600-yard mark from scrimmage already. 5’10, 175 pounds. 4.0 GPA as a freshman so far. Self-reports a 4.51 40 time, take that for what it’s worth.

Breakdown coming after watching his mid-season tape, a tape showing off all of JMS’s best reps through five weeks. First rep is a good one, Moore-Stewart proves he can win with toughness at the LOS. Nothing will come easy, seeing him work for his first rep, fight off a physical DB after his release all while staying true to his route path, JMS scores from 20 yards out. Explosive laterally, this gives you the idea that he’s special with the ball in his hands, reps at running back are a must. DB reps are clearly a must as well, Moore-Stewart was witnessed playing the flat, breaking on a ball thrown to this zone, and picking it off for a score. Great improviser, the kid is a true play maker in every sense of the word. Can score at any alignment, can defend, and tackle in space. Some will question competition level up at Bloomsburg, you can’t fault the kid for dominating in the fashion he has. Special start to his career either way. A surefire future rankee too.
