<p>Each year we get to see new and exciting players rise to the occasion. It can be the usual suspects, the playmakers elevating their team to another level. Or it can be some hidden gems, who just needed a chance to shine. Today, I will be discussing some offensive prospects who have exceled through the midpoint, and are setting themselves up for an exciting back half of the season. We are also starting registration for the Stock Up Showcase. Some of the players on this list have attended before! Use my code TATEPRZ2024 for $10 off!</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Haines is an impressive offensive lineman. In my opinion, he's one of the top tackles in Colorado. Through the midseason mark, Haines hasn't allowed a sack, and has over 50 pancakes. He measures in at 6'7 315 pounds, which is a fantastic size for a tackle. He has very good strength. He has a good initial quickness out of his stance, going into a low pad level to out leverage the defensive lineman. Even if the defender gets lower, he still wins. Haines uses his elite hand strength and placement to control and steer the DL around. He has a very good anchor, driving his legs into the ground not budging against a bull rush. In the pass game, he mimics the footwork of the edge rusher, coping their every move. He has good athletic ability to block out in space, and excels at pull blocking. Haines is consistently winning each 1 on 1 put in front him. He doesn't have any offers yet, but with the way he's playing, he'll be flooded with them in no time.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Meurer is a fantastic prospect coming out of Arvada West. The junior measures in at 6'0 175-pounds. Through the season, he has 33 receptions for 589 yards and 8 touchdowns, with 129 return yards. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, balance, and good jumping. Very good mental processing as well. During the scramble drill, he comes back to his QB. If everyone is covered, he'll make himself available for the easy completion. Very good release against the press jam. He uses his very quick feet to accelerate, and fights through the contact. One aspect of his game that is under looked is his catching. He catches everything thrown his way. Meurer has strong hands to hold onto the ball after being contacted or puts his hands underneath for a low thrown ball. After the catch, he uses his athletic ability to create very dynamic cuts and crisp juke moves. Meurer is a phenomenal player and colleges need to be looking his way.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Rechel is a two-way athlete who excels at both positions. On defense, he plays DB, accounting for 45 tackles, 4.5 TFL, 2 INT, 5 PBU. On offense, he has 1081 all purpose yards and 15 touchdowns. Rechel has very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, change of direction, and jumping. As a defensive back, he has a very good back pedal. He uses his fluid hips to match the WR, and hits the ball carrier hard. As a wide receiver, he is a weapon. Using his game breaking speed to annihilate defenses. Rechel uses his very good vision allowing him to weave through a sea of defenders using dynamic cuts to closer to the endzone. He has very good separation quickness due to his athletic ability. He is consistently outrunning DBs, and getting into the endzone. Rechel needs to have colleges look at his tape. He's a rare player who dominates on both sides of the ball.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Another stellar tackle, this time coming out of Columbine. Burcar is one of the reasons why the run game has been so important to Columbine. He's got good measurables, measuring in at 6'4 250 pounds. Burcar has very good strength. He has very good initial quickness out of his stance, creating contact first. He goes into a low pad level. Using his very good hand strength and placement, it allows him to control and steer his opponent. He wraps up the DL and doesn't let go. Good anchor. He has very good quickness going from the 1st level block to the 2nd, and going combination blocks to solo. Burcar has the athleticism to get out in space, creating blocks downfield for his running back. He's a bulldozer who brings an extra element of physicality in his game.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Andrews is having himself a season. He currently ranks 5th in passing yards. He has thrown 134/195 for 1627 yards, 68.7% completion rate, 13 TD, 0 ints. On the ground, he has 51 carries for 353 yards and 3 touchdowns. He's an accurate quarterback who is smart and decisive with the football. Andrews has very good throw power. He has a good release too. He steps up and uses that cannon on an arm to meet his WRs on the “go” route downfield. Andrews has good accuracy at all 3 levels, however he has very good deep accuracy. His ball placement is on point, with a beautiful over the shoulder TD pass. Against pressure, he stands tall in the pocket or uses his evasiveness to avoid getting sacked. He's good at throwing on the run, either on the left or right side. Andrews is a threat to run the ball as well. He uses his good speed and acceleration to run past defenders. He doesn't shy away from contact, and instead puts his shoulder pads down to create them. I'm very impressed with Andrews' season, and I'm looking forward to seeing how he continues leading Ralston Valley down the stretch.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Sawyer has been feasting this year! He currently ranks 7th overall in rushing yards. The 6'1 210-pound senior has 113 carries for 1024 yards for 13 touchdowns. Through the air, he has 7 receptions for 116 yards and 1 touchdown. Each game he's played, he's gone over 100+ yards. Wald is like a bowling ball out there, using his angry runs to break down a defense. He has very good athletic ability due to very good speed, acceleration, change of direction, and balance. Wald uses his very good vision to ID which hole to run through, and attacks it. He has home run speed to run past the 2nd and 3rd level of defense into the end zone. He has very smooth cuts, and it looks like he's gliding on the field. Wald uses his powerful legs to keep churning when multiple defenders are trying to drag him down. He's also a threat catching out of the backfield. He's got good catching and uses his skills out in open space to juke defenders out. He was a player at our showcase earlier this year, and really showed out!! I'm glad to see him continuing balling out. Again, colleges need to look at his tape because he can be a solid contributor on any team.</p>
