Meurer delivered an MVP level performance for Arvada West, finding the end zone three times and consistently giving his offense a spark. His versatility made him a matchup nightmare, as he produced as both a receiver and a ball carrier. Meurer showcased strong hands, crisp movement in his routes and the ability to slip past defenders after the catch. When used in the backfield, he flashed excellent acceleration and decisive footwork that allowed him to reach the second level with ease. His big play ability helped Arvada West control the momentum from start to finish. As they prepare for a third round showdown with Mountain Vista, Meurer projects to be one of the most impactful players on the field and a key to their success.

Meurer has balled out all season, and is looking to continue his hot streak against Grandview. The 6’0 175-pound WR/DB has 55 receptions for 812 yards and 9 touchdowns, with 24 total tackles (11 solo, 13 assisted). Very good athletic ability due to elite acceleration, very good speed, change of direction, and jumping. Demonstrates very good release at the line of scrimmage using his very quick feet to beat the DB with ease. Very good separation quickness. He’ll outrun the DB, out muscle the DB, or find an open void to exploit for an easy completion. Smooth route running skills. Very good body adjustment and control. Very good ball tracking and catching. He uses his strong hands to rip the ball out of the air, and hold onto it while falling onto the ground. Very good blocker to create lanes for his running backs. I’ve loved watching Meurer over the years, and I’m excited to see how he plays in his playoff game this season.

Meurer started off the season with a bang. The 6’0 175-pound wide receiver had 5 catches for 111 and 1 touchdown, with his longest reception being 50 yards. He also got 23 yards on kick returns too, including a punt return TD. He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction and jumping. He’s well rounded. Meurer demonstrated a very good release due to his quick feet and showed his separation quickness. He’s a fluid route runner. In one play, he jumped up high, extending his body and arms to come down with the catch. Very good body control and adjustment to stay in bounds on the sideline, resulting in a touchdown. He has strong hands, catching the ball with 2 defenders pressing up against him, and not letting go. He’s a very good blocker as well. Very good hand strength and placement to control and steer his opponent creating running lanes. I firmly believe Meurer will elevate his game to another level season.

He has very good athletic ability due to very good acceleration, speed, change of direction, balance, and good jumping. Very good mental processing as well. During the scramble drill, he comes back to his QB. If everyone is covered, he’ll make himself available for the easy completion. Very good release against the press jam. He uses his very quick feet to accelerate, and fights through the contact. One aspect of his game that is under looked is his catching. He catches everything thrown his way. Meurer has strong hands to hold onto the ball after being contacted or puts his hands underneath for a low thrown ball. After the catch, he uses his athletic ability to create very dynamic cuts and crisp juke moves. Meurer is a phenomenal player and colleges need to be looking his way.

Meurer’s ability to find space and make the most of his opportunities will be crucial, as defenses try to slow down this potent running game. Another young baller coming out of Arvada West. Meurer had a nice sophomore season. Throughout the course of the year, he caught the ball 35 times for 521 yards and 2 touchdowns. Meuer has a good frame at 5’10 160 pounds. Meurer has many skills that will propel him into the future as a wide receiver. He has good athletic ability due to very good change of direction, good speed, and acceleration. He has a good release vs press jam and off coverage. Noah will use a 1,2-shake movement to beat the corner at the LOS, then use his athletic ability to create separation between himself and the defender. He has shown good separation quickness. He achieves that by using his athletic ability to out run the DB or juke him out. He uses his mental processing and snifsf out the voids in the zone, allowing for an easy target for his QB. When his QB is in a scramble drill, Meuer will run back to his QB to assist for an easy catch. One thing that really stood out to me was Meurer’s route running ability. He is a very crisp route runner, and pivots on a dime. His routes were precise, with purpose and were not all over the place. He has got good catching skills. Good ball tracking skills as well. He would come up with the catch within multiple defenders. He has very good body control. He can adjust his body either above or below and come down with the catch. For example, he did this in the endzone and kept 2 feet in bounds for the TD. Meuer excels in getting yards after the catch. He uses his very good change of direction to juke out receivers. He will get physical with them. He will put his shoulder down to create extra yardage. Arvada West has a plethora of young talent, and Meurer is another name to add to that list

Meurer is a prospect that excels at the short to intermediate passes being a precise route runner. He has the speed to push the defense vertically and can make the tough catches in traffic. I see him as a guy who can make the possession catch and be a big chunk yardage player. With his speed he has a chance to be a big play threat and will be looking to be a stock riser this season.
