WEEK THREE'S TOP PERFORMERS

[player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] - Senior Running Back - Mangum

The Mangum Tigers are now 3-0 on the season after a 34-7 win over Watonga and it feels like every week senior running back [player_tooltip player_id='1005610' first='Austin' last='Solis'] has made this breakdown. And that's because he has. This is the third straight week that Solis has had a noteworthy performance. It feels like he's automatic for 100-150 yards every week at least and a couple touchdowns. This week, in the win over Watonga, Solis would finish with nearly 150 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also had a 43-yard pass completion. Mangum is rolling and show no signs of slowing down. And with Solis toting the rock, we completely understand.

[player_tooltip player_id='858870' first='Blaine' last='Hipp'] - Junior Quarterback - Hominy

Following a rivalry loss to Pawhuska, Hominy bounced back in a major way with a 43-32 win over Pawnee. It was a high-scoring affair and junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='858870' first='Blaine' last='Hipp'] had a really good showing on Friday night. He would finish the game with nearly 300 yards on 15-20 passing. He also added 72 yards on six carries and accounted for six touchdowns in the win. Hipp was one of the players that we wanted to see the most during this season. He's replacing one of the best players in school history at the quarterback position so it wasn't an easy spot to be in. Hopefully, the week three performance gives him a ton of momentum moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='268307' first='Brayson' last='Carter'] - Senior Athlete - Blanchard

In one of the bigger games of the week, defending 4A champion took down 5A contender Guthrie 33-24. And since it was one of the bigger games, it shouldn't be surprising that senior standout [player_tooltip player_id='268307' first='Brayson' last='Carter'] had a monster performance. He would finish the night with eight catches for nearly 170 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 13 tackles on the defensive side of the ball, an interception, a pass break up and he forced a fumble. We can't confirm or deny that he also sold popcorn at halftime. Carter does it all when he's on the football field and if you still don't think he's one of the best players in Oklahoma, you aren't paying attention.

[player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] - Sophomore Running Back - Coweta

Coweta sophomore running back [player_tooltip player_id='474870' first='Brock' last='Heilmann'] is the only player on this breakdown who's team came up short on the scoreboard on Friday night. Coweta fell to Prairie Grove in Arkansas and fell to 0-3 on the season but Heilmann was a one-man wrecking crew for the Tigers. The sophomore finished with 44 carries for nearly 300 yards and five touchdowns. Read that stat line again. 44 carries from the sophomore running back and Heilmann accounted for all five Coweta touchdowns. The Tigers are young, Heilmann is part of that young group that's coming up. They are going to be very good, very soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='353419' first='Caden' last='Davis'] - Senior Linebacker - Carl Albert

Carl Albert senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='353419' first='Caden' last='Davis'] is one of the best football players in Oklahoma. We'll start there. Davis led another Carl Albert shutout as the Titans went on the road and beat Stillwater 30-0. Davis finished with ten tackles, three of them coming for a loss and three sacks. He also blocked a punt on special teams and had six carries for nearly 40 yards and two touchdowns on offense. Davis was an All State 1st Team selection as a sophomore and then again last season. Now, he's well on his way to earning the honor for the third straight year. Carl Albert hasn't given up a point this year and Davis is the leader of that defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='353410' first='Caden' last='Knighten'] - Senior Running Back - Pauls Valley

Pauls Valley played in one of the top games of week three and took care of business with a 19-6 victory over Weatherford. Senior running back and Baylor commit [player_tooltip player_id='353410' first='Caden' last='Knighten'] once again was the best player on the football field. The Pauls Valley senior finished the night with 170 yards and three touchdowns on the ground. But he's also becoming one of the team's top receivers as he finished with nearly 100 yards receiving in addition to all of his work on the ground. The Baylor commit has been absolutely outstanding to start his senior season. He's a special talent and he's showcasing that on a weekly basis.

Dayton Tate-McClendon - Junior Running Back - Prague

Over 100 points were scored on Friday night when Prague would beat Meeker 60-46 and the Prague ground game could not be contained. Junior running back Dayton Tate-McClendon would still be running if the game was going on. He had one of the best performances this week from a running back in the win over the Bulldogs. He finished the night with just over 300 yards and five touchdowns on the ground. He would finish with 25 carries and made every one of them count. McClendon is a name that we're familiar with but definitely didn't expect this kind of production so soon. He's definitely a name to watch moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='449993' first='Easton' last='Webb'] - Junior Quarterback - Sand Springs

Sand Springs was ready to get back on the field after falling to 6A-1 powerhouses Bixby and Owasso in the first two weeks. They took all of their frustrations out on Bishop Kelley and rolled to a 38-3 victory over the Comets. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='449993' first='Easton' last='Webb'] was a player that we spotlighted last week as a name to watch and man did he back up the hype. Webb had one of the best performances of his career on Friday night. He finished with nearly 450 yards and four touchdowns on 21-32 passing. Like we mentioned a few days ago, Webb has been committed to OSU baseball for a while but he's still one of the best QBs in Oklahoma's 2026 class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1101130' first='Graham' last='Murphy'] - Junior Linebacker - Heritage Hall

Heritage Hall escaped Millwood with a 28-25 victory on Friday night and improved to 2-1 on the season. This was a game that had plenty of offense between the two teams but it came down to defense and junior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1101130' first='Graham' last='Murphy'] had a big play at the end. On the final play of the game, Murphy was able to sack Millwood's quarterback to secure the win and that capped off a big night for the junior linebacker. He finished with a team-high 15 tackles and two sacks. Not only was his play at the end a clutch one but this felt like a breakout game for the junior linebacker and Heritage Hall picks up some momentum going into district play.

Jefferson Hodge - Sophomore Quarterback - Mount Saint Mary

Mount Saint Mary beat Casady 41-7 on Friday night and it was their first win over the Cyclones in nearly five decades. Leading the way for the Rockets was sophomore quarterback Jefferson Hodge and he had a night to remember. He would throw for well over 100 yards and a touchdown and also added nearly 200 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. The sophomore helped the Rockets beat Casady for the first time in a while but he's also helped guide the Rockets to a 3-0 start to the 2024 season. Mount Saint Mary is very quickly looking like a team to take seriously moving forward into district play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1626587' first='Jhett' last='Birdwell'] - Junior Quarterback - Kingfisher

Kingfisher scored their first win of the season when they beat Bridge Creek 35-6 on Friday night. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1626587' first='Jhett' last='Birdwell'] had one of the more efficient stat lines from a quarterback in week three and definitely deserves some recognition here. Birdwell finished with over 350 yards and five touchdowns on 18-23 passing. Anytime a quarterback has as many or more touchdowns as incompletions, that's always going to get our attention. Birdwell had a fantastic performance in the win and Kingfisher is hoping to use the week three victory as a boost now that they shift gears and go into district play.

[player_tooltip player_id='1160815' first='Judd' last='Rudd'] - Senior Running Back/Linebacker - Fort Gibson

Fort Gibson is 3-0 on the season and the Tigers rolled to a 44-18 win over Glenpool on Friday night. Senior running back and linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1160815' first='Judd' last='Rudd'] led the way with a complete performance on both sides of the ball. Offensively, he finished with well over 100 yards and a pair of touchdowns. He also had eight tackles and a forced fumble in the win. Rudd and the Tigers have gotten off to a great start this season. But now, the attention shifts to the district opener and it's a big one. The Tigers will face 4A powerhouse Wagoner and while these towns aren't far apart, this is the first time they've met in a while.

[player_tooltip player_id='530573' first='Kale' last='Charboneau'] - Senior Quarterback/Linebacker - Wagoner

On Friday we added Wagoner senior [player_tooltip player_id='530573' first='Kale' last='Charboneau'] to our PRZ-OK Player Of The Year Watchlist and he immediately backed it up. Coming off a dominant performance over Tahlequah in week two, Charboneau had another stellar game on the road in Bristow. The Wagoner senior would finish with a little over 200 yards and three touchdowns on 14-22 passing. He also added 68 yards and a pair of touchdowns on the ground. On defense, he finished with 11 tackles with four of them coming for a loss. In the last two weeks, Charboneau has been a one-man wrecking crew and the Bulldogs look like a force in 4A.

[player_tooltip player_id='1328118' first='Kamieon' last='Nero'] - Freshman Quarterback - Rejoice Christian

After a bye week, Rejoice Christian got back on the field and bounced back from a week one loss to Cascia Hall by bouncing Christian Heritage 52-21. This was a match-up that featured two top ten teams in Class A-1 and the Eagles looked superior and it looked that way from the start. Freshman quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1328118' first='Kamieon' last='Nero'] made his first career start after Rejoice's QB1 was hurt against Cascia Hall. Nero definitely didn't look like a freshman making his first start against a top ten team. He finished with over 250 yards and four touchdowns on 14-18 passing. On the first play from scrimmage he had an 80-yard touchdown pass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1292050' first='Kincayde' last='Eng'] - Junior Quarterback - Metro Christian

Metro Christian is now 3-0 this season after rolling to a 48-7 win over NOAH on Friday night. Junior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1292050' first='Kincayde' last='Eng'] continues to enjoy a breakout season as he would throw for nearly 250 yards and three touchdowns on 14-21 passing. He also finished the night with a rushing touchdown. Eng is in his first season as QB1 of the Patriots and he's looking like a player that could definitely emerge as one of the top quarterbacks in Class 2A-1. And this is a class where a lot of the top teams have first year starters at quarterback. If Eng can continue playing at a high level, the Patriots will be serious contenders.

[player_tooltip player_id='1350633' first='Luke' last='Linville'] - Senior Quarterback - Sulphur

Sulphur had a heartbreaking loss to Washington in week one but the Bulldogs have been dominant ever since. They rolled to a 62-7 win over Cache on Friday night and senior quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1350633' first='Luke' last='Linville'] had a very quick and productive night. The senior signal caller would finish with over 300 yards and three touchdowns on 13-14 passing. He also added a rushing touchdown and his night was done by halftime. All of those numbers took place in the first two quarters. In fact, when we look at Linville's numbers this season, he's incredibly accurate and off to a great start this fall. Sulphur is a team that can't be overlooked in 3A.

[player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] - Junior Athlete - Vian

Vian junior standout [player_tooltip player_id='424595' first='Masyn' last='Wright'] put on an absolute show in their 67-34 win over Pocola on Friday night. It was our first chance to see Wright in person and he definitely backed up all the hype. 2A-2's top-ranked Vian is for real as well. Wright finished the night with just over 300 yards on the ground and three touchdowns on 17 carries. He had multiple touchdowns called back for penalties as well. He impacted the game as a running back, receiver, linebacker and kick returner. We knew that Wright was a special player but seeing it in person and seeing that kind of performance was definitely eye-opening.

[player_tooltip player_id='472321' first='Ritson' last='Meyer'] - Junior Running Back - Elgin

Elgin is the number one team in Class 4A and through the first three games, they've shown no reason to think otherwise. Elgin smashed Newcastle 56-14 to wrap up non-district play and junior running back [player_tooltip player_id='472321' first='Ritson' last='Meyer'] had another solid showing in the win. Meyer would finish the night with over 100 yards on the ground and four touchdowns. He also added 68 yards on four receptions and finished the night with 180 yards of total offense. We thought that Meyer could have this kind of season considering the talent that he has and the offensive line that Elgin brings to the table. The Owls look like a serious title contender.

[player_tooltip player_id='288687' first='Shepherd' last='Sisemore'] - Senior Defensive Back - Plainview

Plainview is 3-0 on the season and they look like a team in Class 3A that could make a ton of noise after missing out on the playoffs last year. In a gritty 23-13 win over Davis, it was their senior star [player_tooltip player_id='288687' first='Shepherd' last='Sisemore'] who stepped up on the defensive side of the ball. Sisemore would also show why he's one of the best prospects in the state's 2025 class and he's now committed to Air Force. Sisemore finished the night with 13 tackles, an interception and a forced fumble to go along with another pass breakup. Sisemore is also a threat on the offensive side of the ball but on Friday, it was his defense that got the job done.

[player_tooltip player_id='1161908' first='Teaguen' last='Collins'] - Junior Athlete - Muldrow

Our final standout is another familiar name to this breakdown. Muldrow junior [player_tooltip player_id='1161908' first='Teaguen' last='Collins'] is once again a top performer after the Bulldogs beat Spiro on the road 36-7. Collins had another complete performance from the quarterback position. He was an efficient passer, going 16-20 for 165 yards and a touchdown. He also added 73 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. Defensively, he finished the night with nearly ten tackles. Needless to say, Collins is off to a fantastic start to his junior season and is incredibly fun to watch at the quarterback position. He's a dynamic weapon that makes Muldrow scary.
