We have Manson slotted in the secondary at the Prep Redzone. That makes sense with his excellence in the back end of the defense. After seeing him dominate at receiver against Urbandale on Friday, he probably should be categorized as an athlete - a really, really good athlete. It could be safety or wideout, but he could also grow into a linebacker or tight end. If he does, look out. His athleticism would be off the charts at those positions. Manson boasts speed and a frame capable of adding good weight without slowing him down. He's super fluid in his movements and actions, and he has long arms.

Another standout junior for the Trojans, Whitters' ceiling is high just like that of Manson. When you watch what these guys do already, college coaches can dream on the eventual outcome. They both report Iowa offers. Whitters, who also claims offers from Iowa State and Kansas State, is technically sound with strength and a good understanding of how to use leverage to his advantage. On defense, that's as a disruptive force in the middle of the line. On offense, which is where colleges like him now, he is an agile and powerful guard. He matched up with Wyoming commit [player_tooltip player_id='1206077' first='Axel' last='Ramazani'] of Urbandale, a fun competition that showed Whitters can hang with the state's best.

The Iowa tight end commitment caught 10 passes for 104 yards in this one, doing most of his damage lining up out wide. Woods resembles Manson in being a well-rounded athlete with size and speed. You can see why the Hawkeyes like him at tight end. The projection there is sky high at a school that thrives at development there. Woods also could work on defense Earlier in his career, he shined as a hard-hitting safety. Friday, he moved around the second level and was used as a rush end. His versatility and athleticism will keep doors open should it not work out at tight end. Don't bet on that, though.

A four-year varsity starter, like fine wine, Wallace has aged well. The Minnesota State commitment commands the offense, and the Trojans benefit from his knowledge and experience. Wallace always has brought a strong arm to the field. His footwork, forever an asset, also has improved. It allows him to step up and slide without having to leave the pocket. You can see how much quicker he gets through his progressions and uses his eyes to deceive defenders. When considering how much he's grown in the last four years, his future coaches should be thrilled being able to mold him more.

The young signal caller has taken a step forward after starting last season as a freshman. It starts with being more comfortable and stable behind center. His dual-threat ability keeps defenses honest and opens up the J-Hawk offense. He ran for 98 yards and two touchdowns in this game and hit some nice throws against a talented West back seven. The arm strength is present and accounted for. As he continues adding accuracy and getting a better feel for throwing receivers open, Rinnan should become even more effective.

Brooks is one of the more underrated backs in the state. Although not the biggest guy, he gets the most out of his frame. He does so by exhibiting patience and utilizing his vision in finding holes in the defense. That process includes a quick burst through the openings and wiggle to make would-be tacklers miss in space. He rushed for more than 1,000 yards and 11 touchdowns last year. Brooks had a team-best 99 yards and a score on 15 carries against West.

The sophomore proved he belonged against a physical, fast Trojan D-Line on Friday. Lining up at guard, Bowie teams up with tackle [player_tooltip player_id='847874' first='Trey' last='Hicklin'] to give the J-Hawks a formidable left side of the line. Bowie does his best work in the run game, where he uses quickness and a powerful lower half to drive into opponents' chests. He can slide laterally and block in space. It will be interesting to see how good he becomes because he already competes really well.
