The Iowa tight end commitment caught 10 passes for 104 yards in this one, doing most of his damage lining up out wide. Woods resembles Manson in being a well-rounded athlete with size and speed. You can see why the Hawkeyes like him at tight end. The projection there is sky high at a school that thrives at development there. Woods also could work on defense Earlier in his career, he shined as a hard-hitting safety. Friday, he moved around the second level and was used as a rush end. His versatility and athleticism will keep doors open should it not work out at tight end. Don’t bet on that, though.
