Muskegon vs. Mona Shores Preview

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Tonight's trip will take us to West Michigan where the Big Reds of Muskegon, fresh off a beatdown of Forest Hills Northern, will see a stout Mona Shores team. Muskegon started this season off with a gauntlet of a schedule, dropping games to Zeeland West and Rockford. A bye week to get their bugs worked out seemed to work as they turned around and got their first win of the season against FHN. On the other hand, Mona shores is now 4-0 with some big time wins against teams we believe to be factors come playoff time. They beat D1 Grand Blanc, defeated the always talented River Rouge, dominated Hamady and last week squeaked out a 2 point win over Byron Center. Tonight, Muskegon and Mona Shores will duke it out for the 45th time. Rutgers commit [player_tooltip player_id='602233' first='N-Kye' last='Wynn'] is going to be must watch. He's a big and physical dude with the strength to absolutely dominate the point of attack. I know he does a great job on the round blazing a path for his running backs, but I will definitely be watching to see how he dominates in the passing game, and what his technique looks like. In his film I have taken note that even on passing sets, he still initiates the contact with the pass rusher and is able to physically manhandle them right from the snap of the ball. He will likely have to fill holes and take on lead blockers on nearly every play. If there is one thing I know for sure, Darekeo is tough as nails and will likely rise to the challenge. His film shows he is able to fly at the snap of the ball and get to his spot with bad intentions. On the ground, I will be watching to see what his vision is like and what kind of burst he has through the hole. Through the air, I want to see his ball placement and anticipation. Will he be able to throw guys open against a defense that prides itself on being faster and more reactive than their opponent? He will undoubtedly have my attention as he will need to be a consistent yards getter for this offense. We all know this game will be a game of inches, so he will need to show improved vision to take advantages of the small gaps he does get. Tonight, I get that opportunity! I know from his Hudl so far this season that he has made plenty of improvement. He has improved his mobility; he is used to pull quite often and does a great job of locking on in space and getting guys on the ground. It will be interesting to see how he does tonight at creating some space and making some running room for his ball carriers. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
