First up is Arkansas Deontae Griffin, and it takes about two seconds to see why he is a kid to keep an eye on. Griffin has incredible speed and running ability for a quarterback, something that is becoming increasingly valuable in the current state of higher level football. There are multiple clips of Griffin running designed quarterback runs to great success, including a 98 yard run where he burned past every defender in his way. Griffin has also shown advanced mechanics as a passer, including good pocket awareness, anticipation and a lively arm.

Next on the list is Florida's Lamech Rucker Jr. Rucker is a prodigy down in the sunshine state, already playing varsity football as an 8th grader. Standing at 6'1 Rucker is well ahead of other kids his age stature wise. Rucker also displays a crazy amount of arm talent, and throws a beautiful tight spiral that is textbook to what to look for in a QB. Also key to look at is Rucker's smooth arm motion when he throws, allowing him to effortlessly fire passes deep down field. Rucker is a budding star, and already competing at the Varsity level means he will have a leg up on his peers.

Third on the list is Corey Taylor Jr. from South Carolina. Taylor's most notable ability is his ball placement, as he seems to be able to throw outside and inside the numbers with great success and accuracy. There is some work to be done with his throwing motion, as it does seem a little awkward at times. However, that seems to have no effect on his arm strength, or ability to throw a powerful spiral that is sure to find its intended target. Talent is great and all, but work ethic is just as important, and Taylor has that in spades. Taylor has been to multiple camps and showcases to show off his ability and work with the other top South Carolina QB's in his class.

Up next is a QB who is nationally recognized, and already received a Div. 1 offer. [player_tooltip player_id='547870' first='Ty' last='Snell'] is still in middle school and the University of Marshall has already extended an offer to him, and it's pretty easy to see why. Standing at 6'2" Snell towers over most kids his age, and likely will grow into the stereotypical QB height of 6' 4/6 '5. Snell also fits the mold of what most QB's need to be nowadays, which is being capable both as a runner and passer. Snell is a pass first QB, showing great ability to be patient and climb up in the pocket, but also shows an ability to roll out and make throws on the run, or just pick up the first down himself with his legs. Not only does he use his speed, but Snell is also a powerful runner able to break tackles and stiff arm defenders, due in large part to his size advantage over everyone else. Snell is accurate, fast, and showcases a live arm that can fire a perfect spiral anywhere on the field he wants.

Last but not least is Keirion Tate. Tate hails from the peach state of Georgia and like the others on this list, shows impressive skills for a kid still in middle school. Most notably with Tate is his ability to make defenders miss, inside and outside the pocket. Staying cool under fire is an invaluable skill for a QB, and Tate demonstrates that time and time again, rolling away from pressure before either making a throw on the run, or keeping the ball for himself. This skill is something his coaches seem to recognize, as Feagin Hill gives him the ability to run triple option, a play that requires quick and decisive decision making by the quarterback.
