Corey Taylor is another long, lanky QB prospect who projects out as a traitsy prospect a few years down the line. Taylor’s quick feet and release stood out to me up close. As is the case with many long, lanky QBs, he had no problem cutting through the ball and tightroping it into the short areas. As camp went on, he showed more and more the ability to mix up touch and placement to bend the ball around DBs. Taylor will test toward the top of the QB group. He might be the most “dual-threat” prototype amongst the group.

Third on the list is Corey Taylor Jr. from South Carolina. Taylor’s most notable ability is his ball placement, as he seems to be able to throw outside and inside the numbers with great success and accuracy. There is some work to be done with his throwing motion, as it does seem a little awkward at times. However, that seems to have no effect on his arm strength, or ability to throw a powerful spiral that is sure to find its intended target. Talent is great and all, but work ethic is just as important, and Taylor has that in spades. Taylor has been to multiple camps and showcases to show off his ability and work with the other top South Carolina QB’s in his class.
