Arlen Harris’ 2029 Backfield Bullies Volume 6 (9/4/24)

When you're standing 6 feet tall in a middle school backfield, you automatically peek the interest of spectators. Athens Davenport has a solid frame and game to go with it. This Georgia Elite Classic offensive MVP has great contact balance and finishes runs with a physical burst. He can catch and harnesses deceptive speed which leaves defensive backs with a business decision type mentally when Athens is in space. He runs through arm tackles and his stiff arm has pop to it. This kid has a lot going for him at the moment, not to mention holding the 4X1 record at school, on top of being a Hoop standout.       A'jabeon Stinson has a chiseled dense build that reflects fine genetics and hard work. This young man is reliable and gives max effort. His ball skills are above average and best utilized by creating mismatches versus linebackers. Yes, he can run routes affectively. Check off the box for speed as well. Stinson can really pick them up and put them down on the field and track. He can keep defenses honest depending on where you line him up or just give him a jet sweep, outside zone, and he will do the rest.     Jason Turner is a big gain threat and sometimes loses ground to make something out of nothing. He has a gallop in his stride and will cut across the field on you in a heart beat if your pursuit angles are trash. Turner trusts his vision, runs with intent, and makes moves controlled. My man is a competitor and dual sport athlete you want to know.     Ratliff is a dual sport athlete that gets it done on both sides of the ball. As a running back, he displays natural ability to evade tackles and pull away from the pack. More of a threat on the edge, but shows foot work to get in a gap then climb the ladder outside, where his strength lies. He allows blocks to set up, then gets creative with the space open to him.     Mr. Williams doesn't disappoint as far as what you would expect out of a smaller ball carrier. He has good agility and excellent top end speed. His patience is noticeable on film and the acceleration to daylight leaves you excited to see more from this running back. It's also not surprising to see Daniel has a solid track resume as well. I assume there will loads of explosive plays on his highlight reel by years end.
