Williams is a back whose skill set and season are beyond his years. With plus vision and refined footwork, he gets the most out of his touches. His ability to process while pressing the line before exploding through daylight is impressive. With solid burst and his low center of gravity, he runs with natural contact balance. This stocky frame helps him bounce through arm tackles, while his long speed allows him to finish explosive runs. Inside the red zone, he displays a natural nose for the end zone and a competitive drive to finish with six. This skill set makes him one of the more intriguing backs in his class.

Mr. Williams doesn’t disappoint as far as what you would expect out of a smaller ball carrier. He has good agility and excellent top end speed. His patience is noticeable on film and the acceleration to daylight leaves you excited to see more from this running back. It’s also not surprising to see Daniel has a solid track resume as well. I assume there will loads of explosive plays on his highlight reel by years end.
