Somehow, I went 3 years without noticing Shank, who just went over 4000 career passing yards on Friday and went nuclear. On Friday, he put up 412 yards and 6TDs as they cruised to an easy win. Shank is a quick decision-maker who is accurate and doesn't make mistakes. He came out on fire and never lost the heat. He threw guys open all night long and was 1 step ahead of the defense. He's a dynamic athlete with a good build, elite speed, and fantastic vision with the ball in his hands. Friday night he rushed for 214 yards and a pair of touchdowns and then added a touchdown through the air on a reception and returned a punt for a TD. He rushed for 241 yards and 3 TDs. 2 of those TDs came late in the game and helped Greenwood come back in the 4th. He also picked a pass off on defense making an impact there as well. He not only handled the massive workload with ease but put up huge numbers and helped beat Fishers. Through the first 2 weeks of the season, he's duplicated his performances. With over 100 yards and a rushing TD in each game, he's well on his way to adding to his numbers from last season, but he's turned a page in his development and it's noticeable. Friday night he ripped off big run after big run. It seemed like every time he touched the ball he was shooting out the backside of the hole.
