Crawford is tucked away in one of the smaller schools in Indiana, but that doesn’t mean he can’t play. He’s dominated his completion over the past 2 years. With over 2400 yards and 34 TDs over the past 20 games, Crawford is doing exactly what you should if you are incredibly talented. Show up, light it up, have big plays and highlights, and then let the tape speak for itself.
Crawford is just 5-foot-9 and weighs 195 pounds, but he is a very tough tailback who runs through contact and has great balance in space. He is also an effective receiver who can make defenders miss in space. He can also put the ball in the end zone: he has over 20 touchdowns so far this season.
The junior running back is off to another fantastic start after having his first 1000-yard season last year. Through the first 2 weeks of the season, he’s duplicated his performances. With over 100 yards and a rushing TD in each game, he’s well on his way to adding to his numbers from last season, but he’s turned a page in his development and it’s noticeable. I think he’s someone who will quietly have another big year and turn heads down the road.
Crawford is the do-it-all guy for Knightstown and he just had a stellar season to say the least. He’s a thicker back who can absorb contact and hits. He’s not one to back away from contact because he’s got the muscle behind him to win. He’s a back who seems to heat up as the game goes on and the more work he gets, the more dangerous he is. He just put up his first 1000+ yard and 13 TD season. With how the offense goes through him and the raw talent he possess, I think it’s safe to say there’s going to be a lot more of Crawford coming defenses way over the next 2 years.
