Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a small town kid with big dreams! I have started varsity as QB since my freshman year. I am a leader on the field that is looked up to. I am constantly training and working to be the best I can be in my position.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a serving leader who brings high energy and character to my team. I lead by example through sportsmanship and integrity! I’m always rooting on and encouraging all those around me and always bring the We not Me mindset to my teams!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school that has a family type atmosphere and has a great coaching staff that will help build me up as a young man and a football player. I also look for a positive team environment that will bring out the best in me and my teammates and will instill traits that we will take into our adulthood with us.

This was my first time seeing Carmichael work in person, and it’s hard not to like what you see. He’s got the prototypical frame and can make all the throws. He’s got a big arm that can get deep downfield. His placement and timing were arguably the best of the group by a wide margin, but either way, he was the most consistent and made the most of his day.

Carmichael has a chance to be one of the best young passers in the state. As a sophomore starter, he was 121-for-203 for 2,159 passing yards with 21 touchdowns and just six interceptions. At Sunday night’s camp, the 6-foot-4 signal caller showed accuracy and flashed a strong arm.

Carmichael is a 2-sport stud for Knightstown who could have a future on both the field and the baseball diamond if he wanted it. He’s got a lengthy frame that allows him to see over the line without an issue. He got some work in as a freshman and developed as the season went on. With just under 700 passing yards and 7 TDs on 60% completion, it was a sound freshman year for Carmichael.
