Grayson is now the starting QB at Bradley Tech, a change from his former school Brown Deer. Grayson got things rolling in Week 1 as he helped his team to a 1-0 start. He and Tech take on Milwaukee Bay View tonight at 7 pm with their sights set on going 2-0. Having an arm like McCain's in the backfield is a huge bonus. He has the talent to force a defense to cover so much of the field on every snap. In Week 1 Grayson showed off the ability to accurately throw on the run and get throws off from awkward platforms that still found their target. The senior signal caller did a great job using his mobility in Week 1 to buy time, keep his eyes downfield, and fit the ball into tight windows. Don't sleep on one of the best in WI at the QB position.

Leair and Cedarburg battled their way to a 1 point Week 1 victory over a very talented Grafton team. Now they turn their attention towards a Week 2 matchup with Wauwatosa West. Cedarburg will look to continue to build on their dominant Week 1 offensive output where they were able to create 400+ yards of total offense. Luke was a big contributor to that with his 6 receptions, 52 yards, and a TD.

Leair has a really good base of talent to build on at the next level. He has a great frame for the TE position. His athleticism allows him to line up inline at TE or out wide. The senior TE proved in Week 1 he could stretch the seam and high point the ball. Plus he does a good job using his frame to protect the ball at the catch and then runs hard to gain extra yards after the catch. Check out the Week 1 highlights from one of the best at his position.

Drew was a key piece to a hard earned Stoughton victory over Oregon HS in Week 1. The senior QB did it with his arm and his legs as he threw 2 TDs and ran for another 2 scores. In Week 1 Drew showed a massive arm that could stretch the field with ease. The senior also showed a very accurate arm that was able to throw his targets open at times with his ball placement. His touch was key as well, dropping the ball between levels of defenders to his receivers. His throwing on the run was just as effective as from the pocket too. Coaches, I highly recommend you dig into Drew's highlights. No question he is one of the top senior QBs here in WI. In Week 2, Stoughton hosts Green Bay Southwest at home as they look to start their season 2-0.

In Week 1 David and Prescott pulled off one of the most impressive wins in the state. Going up against #3 Northwestern and coming away with a 42-8 victory. A victory that saw Prescott dominate every facet of the game. A big reason why they were able to dominate is because they won up front. Leading the way there is OL [player_tooltip player_id='1209392' first='David' last='Regnier']. Regnier dominated the trenches with power to drive the DL off the ball, opening up lanes and creating a positive surge of the line of scrimmage. The 280 lbs OT was able to bully defensive linemen with his strength and on defense was able to power his way towards a lot of disruption in the backfield. Prescott takes on Durand-Arkansaw in Week 2. Make sure you check out David's highlights from this week and Week 1.

An OL who is making some nice strides in his development is Wausau East big man [player_tooltip player_id='1394912' first='Charlie' last='Cayley']. He only played the first half of Week 1, but it helped East start off the season 1-0 with a 1 point victory over Westby. Charlie is looking far more comfortable at the position in 2024. He is sliding and mirroring pass rushers more effectively, and we are seeing more power in his leg drive and stronger hands to control his opponent. Charlie is also playing with that finish mentality and looks to end plays by putting his opponent on their back. In Week 2 East faces off with La Crosse Logan in what should be a great game.

We return to Prescott for another massive steal on the offensive side of the ball. WR [player_tooltip player_id='480440' first='Will' last='Packard'] went absolutely berserk in Week 1 to beat Northwestern. The senior WR reeled in 8 catches, for 130 yards, and 3 TDs. Will was a big play threat with every catch. Will did a lot of his damage in the short passing game. He would quickly get separation and then after the catch Will showed how strong and tough of a runner he is. The senior WR piled up a lot of yards after contact in Week 1, showing how much of a playmaker he is. Look for him to put up more big numbers in Week 2. Don't sleep on one of the top hidden gems of northern WI. Check out the film.
