Stats: 440+ Yards of Offense, Several Tackles on Defense

What a game from the senior OL/DL committed to St. Thomas. David has the prototypical frame needed to be a D1 level recruit. He also has the dominating, overwhelming strength required. Prescott relied on the pass most of the game and the OT did a great job of using his length to get hands on and completely shut down him man. When Prescott did run the ball, though, we got to see David really flip that switch and start mauling opponents. The senior OT made it look easy creating pancakes and a positive push in the trenches. That strength also shined on defense where the senior helped shut down the inside running game of SCC. One of the most impressive plays I have seen from a DL this season was made by David in this game too. He got off the line quick and tossed a pulling guard right into the lap of the QB who was just starting to run with the ball. That knocked the QB down for the TFL without David ever actually putting a hand on him. Here is the play to view for yourself. This kid is a force in the trenches and will be moving up in the rankings after the season.

In Week 1 David and Prescott pulled off one of the most impressive wins in the state. Going up against #3 Northwestern and coming away with a 42-8 victory. A victory that saw Prescott dominate every facet of the game. A big reason why they were able to dominate is because they won up front. Leading the way there is OL David Regnier David Regnier 6'4" | 280 lbs | OL Prescott | 2025 State WI . Regnier dominated the trenches with power to drive the DL off the ball, opening up lanes and creating a positive surge of the line of scrimmage. The 280 lbs OT was able to bully defensive linemen with his strength and on defense was able to power his way towards a lot of disruption in the backfield.
