First off, the Hough Huskies had QB [player_tooltip player_id='371459' first='Trey' last='Blakeney'], RB [player_tooltip player_id='905224' first='Jycen' last='Anciso'], DB [player_tooltip player_id='284097' first='Samari' last='Matthews'], and LB Ayden Bell in attendance with Head Coach Deshawn Baker. I asked Baker about how the Huskies will find a way to get over the playoff hump and get into the state championship game. He responded with a good observation, which you can see below:

Overall, I was impressed with Chambers QB Bryson Wright. Bryson was the only player during the media day who stood up when answering questions. When asked why he did that, Bryson stated that he wanted to make sure everyone saw him because he planned on becoming a standout player this upcoming season. If anyone on your team, you want your quarterback to exude that kind of confidence for sure. Impressive.

Up next were the North Mecklenburg Vikings who had LB Mikey Mcgill, LB [player_tooltip player_id='1283601' first='Ryan' last='Hailey'], DL [player_tooltip player_id='719690' first='Charles' last='House'], WR [player_tooltip player_id='612108' first='Landon' last='Gilmore'], and DB Jon Snipes in attendance along with Head Coach Daryl Vereen. I asked Coach Vereen two questions - what's been the biggest challenge so far as Head Coach, and what's it like to lead his alma mater on Friday Nights.
