This was a start to a career that I have been excited for since Isaac won MVP at the Prep Redzone WI Showcase. The junior gunslinger delivered a great performance that more than lived up to expectations as he led his team to a Week 1 thrilling OT victory. Isaac was on fire as a passer. He attacked all three levels of the field with accuracy and velocity. He protected the ball with smart placement. Isaac also made some impressive throws while on the run and even had a nice jump pass to find his receiver downfield. It was great to see the poise of the newcomer in a big time game. Recruiters, this is a 2026 QB to have on your boards. Check out the highlights below.

Unfortunately we don't have any film to go off of, but sophomore RB [player_tooltip player_id='1620350' first='Calum' last='Crist'] is off to a great start as a varsity athlete for Darlington. He handled a big workload, churned out the yards, and helped his team secure the win over Platteville. The 5'10" 195 lbs athlete is a compact, powerful underclassman that is sure to have plenty more big time performances over the next 3 seasons of HS football. Calum is definitely on our radars and we look forward to checking out the film on his strong debut and the rest of his season.

After years of dominance from former Franklin RB Terrance Shelton, Franklin needed to find their next feature back. After Week 1 it sure looks like they found him. As an underclassman Robert did get some varsity run, but this past Friday marked the beginning of his run as the starter. What a beginning it was. Against a worthy foe, Robert flashed next level traits. His vision is maybe the top strength of his game. The junior found holes and attacked without hesitation. He burst through the lane and second gear in space triggered big play after big play. The decisiveness that he runs with is not easy to find at this level. We are very excited to see more film from the standout junior going forward and recruiting departments should be too.

Hamilton Sussex has produced some of the most dominant dual threat QBs over the past 4-5 years. So you know we were excited to see who was next up at the helm this season. It took all of one week for the next leader of the offensive to put up eye catching numbers with his arm and legs. Chas Powell fits the job perfectly. He is a smart decision maker running the option. The field flipping speed is there when he hits the open field. He has strong instincts as a runner to find lanes, use blocks, and find cutbacks to more green grass. As a passer you have to love his accuracy to every level of the field and the touch he shows on deep attempts. Plus he is able to really zip the ball into spots in the short- intermediate levels of the field. The offense is in good hands at Hamilton Sussex.

Brooks fits what this offense has been doing over the past few years perfectly. He has a big frame with a live arm plus the confidence to come out in his first week as the starter and attack downfield. Every TD pass in Week 1 was over 20 yards downfield placed with accuracy and his strong arm was able to get it there quickly. The lefty gunslinger has the tools to put up dominant numbers over the next two years. Get this kid on your radar. He is going to be one of the top risers in this Class by the end of the season.

Jordan put together a great first start as he led Waukesha South to a Week 1 win. The highlights from the game for Jordan are impressive. He delivers an amazing throw off platform while being tackled by a DL. The sophomore did a great job of moving around the pocket to buy time while keeping his eyes downfield. Garcia was a poised, quick decision maker and let his standout ball placement shine. Garcia is building on a strong base of talent that he showed as a freshman. Big things ahead. Check out the tape below.

My personal most anticipated first varsity start was QB [player_tooltip player_id='948097' first='Patrick' last='Greisen'] out of West De Pere. QB1 met and surpassed the expectations heading into Week 1. So much of his game is finely tuned. The mechanics are sharp and so consistent from snap to snap. The accuracy is exceptional as he fits the ball into tight windows and knows exactly when to use touch or power to beat the defense. Patrick has the arm strength to open up the entire field for the offense and doesn't shy away from pushing the ball downfield. The junior did a great job of reading the defense and finding the best target on each play. Patrick affirmed his QB1 ranking with his Week 1 performance. He is the need to know guy of his position in WI for the Class of 2026.
