The teams travel far and wide, they play a gritty style of ball, and there are some definite college ready kids everywhere you look in the league. With their location, there is no shortage of overlooked talent that needs to be highlighted. This article we'll be highlighting the ranked players from this extremely intriguing group of teams. There's a lot of them, so the evaluations will be quick and concise to make it more palatable.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1298637' first='Talon' last='Smith'] | OL | 6'4 280 | Marquette | Pos: 27 State: 127 |

Talon is a very big and strong kid with a lot of potential. Colleges are starting to take notice and believe he could be molded into something special in the trenches. There's definitely some raw ability, he can put dudes on their backs and he has a solid passing set as well.

| [player_tooltip player_id='899583' first='Korbin' last='Sulitis'] | DL | 6'2 200 | Petoskey | Pos: 27 State: 198 |

Korbin was one of my big time standouts from the Gateway To The North Showcase. He's an EDGE with a nose for the backfield. He fires off fast, he has some solid pass rush moves, and his motor everything you'd want. He has a great ability to latch onto his target and not let go. Very sure tackler who has a ton of upside heading into his final season of high school ball.

| [player_tooltip player_id='899565' first='Kyle' last='McGowan'] | ATH | 6'6 195 | Cadillac | Pos: 28 State: 201 |

Kyle has great size, a nice amount of athletic ability and very sticky hands. He is a nightmare to try and jam at the line, and on 3rd down, 4th down and in the Red Zone, Kyle really shines. High pointing the ball comes naturally to the 6'6 receiver. I wouldn't be shocked if he gains some weight and ends up as an inline tight in if he is able to develop the blocking side of the TE position.

| [player_tooltip player_id='586188' first='Seth' last='Marek'] | WR | 6'2 185 | Petoskey | Pos: 34 State: 220 |

Seth spent his entire 11th grade year shattering records. Every school receiving record belongs to this super talented wide out. He has a nice release, and has that 6th sense to just straight up get open. His catch radius is large and when he gets his hands on the ball, it's always going to be a catch. It's definitely time for him to start really receiving the college offers I've been expecting for awhile.

| [player_tooltip player_id='586189' first='Haden' last='Janes'] | DB | 5'8 155 | Petoskey | Pos: 23 State: 221 |

Janes has started getting some college attention, but this fall I think it will really explode. He's athletic, instinctual, plays the ball incredibly well and wraps up tackles well. His closing speed is very good which gives me optimism that he could hold his own at the D3 level playing some man coverage if asked. I'm hoping to see him in person this season, but so far I really like what I see!

| [player_tooltip player_id='899463' first='Javon' last='Stevenson'] | WR | 6'3 195 | Escanaba | Pos: 39 State: 252 |

I've mentioned Javon before, but man I really hope to see him get some college offers soon. He's a very athletic receiver who high points the ball incredibly well, he beats his man with crisp route running and he can out-athlete a lot of good DBs. Javon will have to have a really good season to draw some attention, but I think he's up to the task!

| [player_tooltip player_id='899581' first='Keaton' last='Abraham'] | DL | 6'1 220 | Gaylord | Pos: 44 State: 312 |

Keaton has a crazy motor, he is athletic and relentless. I think his offers are coming very soon, and they'll be deserved. I honestly think he has a D2 ceiling. His get off is great, he has some various moves, but his stamina is definitely one of his best traits. Keep an eye out for some offers to roll in if he has a couple good weeks to start the season.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1290489' first='Bailey' last='Wade'] | OL | 6'4 280 | Cadillac | Pos: 51 State: 326 |

Wade has very good size. I think he could definitely improve on mobility, but I really like his aggression and ability in the run game. I hope to see him continue developing in the passing game, but he has the size for it. Wade could be a good D3 prospect with some progress this off-season.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1217502' first='Mason' last='Fralick'] | DB | 5'11 165 | Petoskey | Pos: 49 State: 394 |

I'm probably higher on Mason than most, but I think his film really shows why. His technique is beyond a lot of DBs in the same division, his speed is very good and I love the way he's able to play the ball. This will be one of the kids that is ranked here now, but could make a huge jump before the end of the season.

| Martin Peccia | OL | 6'5 290 | Cadillac | Pos: 59 State: 398 |

Martin is still a project guy I think, but his elite size is a huge leg up. I think he needs to continue to work on his overall strength. His mobility is pretty good and in the run game he can flat out run over some guys on the 2nd level. I hope he has continued to work his tail off this offseason so he can boom this fall.

| [player_tooltip player_id='1290495' first='Eric' last='Eades'] | DL | 6'3 195 | Alpena | Pos: 65 State: 446 |

Eric has a nice skill set that may be a bit underrated. He does a great job of firing off, getting into the backfield and either getting home for a sack or putting his long arms up and forcing a bad throw from the QB. I wouldn't be shocked to see some D3 teams come calling if he adds some weight and continues to work on technique.
