Everyone that knows Keaton speaks extremely high of him both on the field and as a person. I haven’t met him, but what I have seen him do on the field is impressive. He’s a relentless edge rusher who does a great job of fighting through multiple blockers to make the play. He’s a big bodied athlete who has strong legs and a good toolbag of moves to do damage in many different ways. In the run game, he keeps contain, but crashes hard when there’s a play to be made in front of him. I think he could easily wind up being a D1 caliber guy if he puts in the proper work this offseason, but so far it looks like he is well on track.

Keaton is a high-upside defensive end with a lot of good instincts. The effort is there. He come off the ball with decent explosiveness and quickness, and works to quickly engage with a blocker before using his strength to shed the block. In the run game, he’s very good at anchoring himself and quickly shedding to the left or right to fill a gap as a ball carrier is rushing through. When rushing the passer, Keaton works to get the edge and speed by linemen, but sometimes he can get pushed too far past the QB.
