Javon is a raw receiver with a very high ceiling. Getting the bad out of the way first- Javon needs to run better routes and utilize his athleticism more. That said, Javon is not a bad athlete. Once he catches the ball, Javon is consistently able to get past defenders via jukes, speed, and OK contact balance. I’m confident that Javon has the athletic tools + size to be an extremely productive college WR. He’ll be a project in college, but the upside is undeniable. Javon is also a basketball star at Escanaba, which further helps his ranking.

I believe Javon could be one of the best WR’s in the state that nobody knows. He is the king of high pointing balls and coming down with jump balls. He has great body control that allows him to adjust in air and get in position to make super contested catches. He runs solid routes, and overall has really good instincts to get open. I hope some of the D2 schools in the U.P have Javon on their radar!

I really liked what I saw from Javon when I went and dove into his clips. He has a nice frame, and he utilizes it perfectly. 50/50 balls go his way more often than not as he has a big solid frame to box out the defender, and can absolutely go up and high point the ball. Javon is definitely a guy you would want on your side down in the redzone as you can really just throw it near him and let him make a play. He runs nice routes both out of the slot and outside the numbers. Javon is a receiver I will be keeping an eye on as he could emerge as a sleeper prospect.
