Kharon is one of the more athletic defensive linemen that you'll ever see. Usually, when I watch a 6'0" 190 D-Lineman, I come away unimpressed. Not Kharon. Playing on-ball lineman and as an outside backer, Kharon fires off the ball incredibly quickly and has the motor + physicality to make plays in the backfield. On paper, Kharon is an undersized player that I wouldn't expect to be a standout player. In reality, Kharon is a very physical football player who seems to play with a ton of heart. That effort and heart has even earned him offers from Davenport, Adrian, and Sienna heights. He's currently ranked #249, and I'm looking forward to seeing him play next season.

Javon is a raw receiver with a very high ceiling. Getting the bad out of the way first- Javon needs to run better routes and utilize his athleticism more. That said, Javon is not a bad athlete. Once he catches the ball, Javon is consistently able to get past defenders via jukes, speed, and OK contact balance. I'm confident that Javon has the athletic tools + size to be an extremely productive college WR. He'll be a project in college, but the upside is undeniable. Javon is also a basketball star at Escanaba, which further helps his ranking.

There's a lot of reason to believe Caleb is due for a breakout senior season. Athletically, he's average across college prospect RBs. Pretty much all of his testing numbers at the Prep Redzone Combine Series placed anywhere from the 45th-55th percentile. On film, Caleb shows a lot that's impossible to evaluate in the offseason. Namely, Caleb has good contact balance. There were several instances last season where Caleb bounced off tackle attempts and gained a few extra yards. The explosive plays weren't there because of his average athleticism, but next season, I wouldn't be shocked if Caleb shows improvement from April.

Cass Tech is one of the most talented and historic teams in Michigan. With a super-talented team, good football players can sometimes get overshadowed by the elite. That said, Kauree isn't elite, but he's a good athlete who made plenty of great plays in 2023. He's best utilized as a 1st-down back and a receiving threat. Running on first and second down, Kauree is able to hit his hole, juke a tackle, and consistently earn a chunk of yards. Receiving the ball via screens, Kauree has solid vision, patience, and shows a lot of promise as a speed-in-space player. Kauree is a good high school running back, and I wouldn't overlook him as a D3 or NAIA prospect. He's earned a ranking, and Kauree should have another productive season.

Eric Thomas was a productive player last season for Chippewa Valley. As a result, he's become a good D3 prospect. As you may guess from his size, Eric is a great speed-in-space option. His low center of gravity allows him to make quick, precise cuts in the open field. In addition, I like Eric's vision and patience in following his blocks. Plus, you can put Eric in the backfield or even put him in the slot. He's a versatile athlete who will have another productive season. I'd love to see Eric show improvement with his explosiveness and overall speed. If he can do that, Eric will be a highly-touted prospect being pursued by the entire MIAA. He has to prove it, but it's well within reason!

Last season, Ryan was a solid two-way player at South Lyon. Having transferred to Brighton, Ryan is looking to break out as a Wide Receiver. Upon watching his film and some clips on Twitter, it's obvious that Ryan is a solid athlete and route-runner. During last season, Ryan had a few explosive plays on offense, but the bulk of his film was on defense. That said, I'm not entirely sure he can produce at a high level as a receiver. Like I said, he's shown good stuff during offseason camps, but that's a lot different than playing on Friday Nights. I know that Brighton is always looking for great receivers and it seems that Ryan could be a great fit. I could easily see Ryan improving his ranking, but for now, he sits at #277.

Martez has shown good DB play in the past but needs to bring it all together this coming season. He earns a ranking based on his offseason performances. He's been training hard, and I expect Martez to show significant improvement this coming season. Last season, Martez had his moments of tight coverage, good change of direction, and lockdown man coverage. The thing is- Martez has been inconsistent in several areas. Especially with run defense, he needs to show improvement. Martez earns a ranking, and I expect good tape this coming season.
