Taking a look at a few DB Prospects who made our 2026 rankings, that may not be household names yet. All of these players below may not have offers yet, but don't be surprised if they do after this fall. I see these guys as prospects who will have breakout years for the 2024-25 season and any one of them could be a huge riser in the next 2026 rankings. These are DBs colleges need to get them on their radars now to follow up with in the winter.

Isaiah is a smooth CB with nice length for his height and made 1st team all county & all region this past fall as a sophomore. He is a natural ball hawk, recording 6 INTs last season and is always around the ball getting hands on passes for PBUs. Fluid and under control in his back pedal, Isaiah is quick to read & react getting good jumps on passes. I see great eye discipline in Isaiah's gam. Putting himself in position to make the play by taking smart angles and knowing when to attack the ball. Isaiah is a plus player in run support as well. Will get off blocks and quick to come downhill and stick the ball carrier, not afraid of contact what so ever.

A versatile DB overall, you can see him play man in press or off coverage as well as in a cover 2 scheme. Can play close to the LOS and float a bit allowing him to always be around to make a play on the ball. I think he could also be an effective slot CB at the next level as well. Look for Isaiah to continue his impact play this season.

https://twitter.com/isaiahhall1_/status/1801816927255302215

Jayden is a player who that the measurables colleges love for his position. At 6'1" 180 he has good height with the frame, build, and length to mold into today's prototype DB. A do it all player for Perryville last season, Jayden had over 600 total purpose yards with 7 TDs, 4 INTs on defense and made All-County. A physical and rangy DB, Mr. Byard's best trait is his ball skills. Able to track and high point the pass, using his size, length, and athleticism to go up and snatch the ball for the interception. Jayden is also a strong tackler, will hit like a linebacker. Will hit through the ball carrier and lay the wood. He displays fluid hips and the ability to stick his foot in the ground and quickly re-direct to break on the play.

Jayden mainly plays CB on the defensive side of the ball, but with his size, physicality and rangy ball hawk ability I like him as a Safety at the next level. He has what college coaches look for and passes the look test. Jayden has Power 4 potential in my mind and with a strong junior campaign, look for Jayden to have a busy winter/spring next year.

https://twitter.com/Jaydenbyard21/status/1731756858703036701

Taamir is a player I recently got to see at a Howard Co. 7v7 and combined with my live eval and his sophomore film, he is a player that could sky rocket in recruiting this year. Made All County / All Region CB this past fall and finished the season with 3 INTS, 3 Def. TDs and 15 PBUs. Taamir is a physical and aggressive CB, who can also play as rover SS. He has a frame that should fill out nicely and end up being a thick strong built 190lbs+ type player. Taamir has oily hips and is quick to drop his weight and explode out to break on the ball. Shows good instincts and ball skills, always getting his hands on the pass. Now want to see him turn some of those PBUs into more INTs. He is a high motor, high energy player who is not scared to mix it up. He can jam press receivers out of the play, supports the run and is a strong tackler.

Taamir has a self reported 4.54 40 and if he put another strong season together and show off the speed at camps next summer, he will be a no doubt G5/FCS level DB and a Power 4 look player. He has the mindset on the field, he has the frame and has the tools that as he continues to develop his game will allow him to be a big time impact player. His versatility will also benefit him as a recruit, could be looked at a outside or slot CB as well as a SS. Can't wait to see more of him and a pretty loaded defensive back group over at Oakland Mills this upcoming season.

https://twitter.com/21TaamirOliver/status/1786554394487427224

Jemere is a player who is poised to take a big step his junior season. Have talked with Severn coaching staff recently and they are high on Jemere's potential and how his development is coming along. Jemere is a physical up safety who plays close to the LOS and flies around the field. Has a good frame/build to fill out and good twitch in his hips to change direction and attack the play. He is a SS right now but can see him developing into the hybrid SS/OLB rover role a lot of teams use now.

While just sneaking into the rankings this time around, Jemere is a name to get on your radar now. He is a high academic player with a 3.9 GPA as he could have a strong breakout junior year, making him an intriguing prospect going forward.

https://twitter.com/branchieboyy/status/1782800884335804690

Christopher is another player that has strong potential and could be a strong rankings riser after this fall. He is long lean framed kid, arms to his knees so still could be growing and if he hits the weight room hard over over the next two years he can develop into a rocked up CB that looks every bit the part.

Chris displays shifty hips and quick feet in coverage. He's a natural at getting his hands on the ball, using his length to his advantage to knockdown passes and getting his hands in between the receivers to break up the play. Putting together a strong offseason on the camp circuit, Chris is showing he has taken that next step in developing his skill set from his sophomore year. A natural CB, Chris has lockdown man coverage abilities. Staying in-phase with receiver in 1v1 coverage, always on their hip ready to make a play on the ball. I'd would liketo see him be strong in run support tackling, but that should come as he gets stronger in his frame. I see Chris having the skill set to develop into one of the areas best cover corners if he does what he continues to put in the work and look forward to see him live this fall.

https://twitter.com/Cj2realDavis

One of DCs hidden gem prospects, as well as possibly be one of the areas top true Slot CBs. Tarvis is a player I am very excited to see live this fall. He plays the slot corner role to a T. Being strong in run support and having the speed/quickness to stay in-phase with receivers in coverage. Tarvis is a physical tackler, high motor and quick to break on the ball carrier and come up to make the play. He is well built for 5'10" and will lay the wood on the ball carrier. In coverage Tarvis has fluid hips and quick feet. He sees the ball well and diagnoses swiftly and make a play on the pass.

Tarvis is a natural at the position and you know he is being coached well at the position from Eastern's HC Roman Morris. If he can build off of his sophomore season, he will be a big time playmaker this upcoming season and will be on colleges radars for sure.

https://twitter.com/1lull3_/status/1721991066453266680

I got to see Dominick live in game back in the fall and he stood out to me all the way back then as an intriguing prospect for the future. He's a tall long CB who displays fluid hips and a smooth runner. Dominick does not hesitate to run the alley and stick his nose in there to make the tackle. He's a good overall athlete with the ability to turn and run with the receiver. Dominick will track the ball well and go up and high point it to make the play. Right now he is best in off coverage where he can see, read, and react to burst on the play. Only seen him play CB for Clarksburg but with his length and stride he has good range and could see him playing some FS as well.

Dominick still as some development to do as a DB in fine tooling his mechanics but he has nice potential and will be a key player for Clarksburg this fall. With a solid junior campaign I can see some FCS schools eyeing his talents next spring.

https://twitter.com/BigDomo12
