One of the more interesting prospects in the 2026 class is the 2-way player from Concord, Brunner. Last season he played half the games at starting QB and the other half at starting safety. He's got elite speed which helps him fly around the field. He's a dual-threat QB who can pull the ball and do as much damage with his legs as he can with his arm. He's got a lengthy build and can easily see over the line. He's a bit raw in going through his progressions but minor things can always be cleaned up when the raw potential is clear.

Heading into his Junior season and looking to take another step is Martin, who is as explosive as anyone in the class. He's a versatile player who plays on both sides of the ball but is a problem with the ball in his hands. He has fantastic vision, knows how to be patient and let blocks set up, and can shoot out the back door. He looks the ball in and doesn't drop many balls. I like where he's at and I think there's a chance he's a 2nd half-career bloomer.

Early was able to get on the field fairly quickly once he got to the high school ranks and has moved all over the field for Northside. Wherever he's been moved, he's held his own and made plays. While he's not the biggest player on the field he's scrappy and knows how to play hard. He's got good speed and doesn't take poor angles when trying to wrap up. He's good in the slot on defense and has the change of direction needed to stay with the slot receivers.

It didn't take many clips for me to become a big fan of Guerra, his potential, and the way he plays the game. He plays on both sides of the ball for Park Tudor and has continuously gotten better each year of his career. Offensively, he's a good receiver who knows how to use his body, catch in traffic, and make something happen after the catch. Defensively, he's strong enough to withstand blows in the trenches and has the speed to run down the ball carrier from behind. Everywhere he goes on the field he makes plays, and sometimes it's as simple as that.

I love guys like Stith because while they never get the love they deserve, it's a guy like him who makes the football world go round. Offense or defense, you've got a high-motor guy who can attack and protect. Either side of the ball, he will do his job and do it at a high level. His consistency and how he attacks each rep is noticeable and guys like him tend to go pretty far. Especially once he gets into a collegiate lifting program I think Stith could blow up physically. He checks just about all the boxes and is still improving, so it's just a matter of time until his name is known.
