Yesterday, PrepRedzone was fortunate to send a few scouts to the only padded camp in Wisconsin: the UW-Eau Claire OL/DL Mega Camp! I was one of those lucky scouts, and I'd like to start by giving a big thanks to Blugolds head coach Rob Erickson and DC Brady Grayvold for letting us come scout what was an excellent event for Midwest offensive and defensive line prospects. Held at the brand new, state-of-the-art Sonnentag Event Center, one of the top 10 largest indoor facilities in all of college football, the OL/DL Mega Camp was filled with talent, size, geographic diversity, and multiple graduating classes worth of trench warfare specialists competing and popping their pads in front of a ton of college coaches. Check out the prospects who caught my eye below!

The top prospect in attendance was also one of the big dogs and MVPs of the inaugural UW-Eau Claire OL/DL Mega Camp. Two days ago, the Janesville Parker 2026 OT earned his first offer from Northern Illinois, and we were excited to get some eyes on him in pads. He did not disappoint. Measured in at 6'4 and three quarters and 269 pounds, and holds a massive 81" wingspan. Also went 1.25 in the flying 10 and 4.88 in the shuttle. Talking to our lead scout in Wisconsin Mark Johnson and it sounds like Meier is having a heckuva offseason and has done a really good job of developing his body. Foot speed, bendy, and got out of his stance well, he's a big kid who can move well and was dominant against younger competition. Wish we could have seen him against the 2025s but there's a lot of camp season left. Potential P4 2026 to keep your eyes on this summer and once junior tape starts coming out.

[player_tooltip player_id='1120621' first='Storm' last='Tiry'] (Stanley-Boyd) 2025. DE.

As a standout PrepRedzone Showcase performer, we knew what Stanley-Boyd's [player_tooltip player_id='1120621' first='Storm' last='Tiry'] could do in 1v1 settings, but this time we got to see it in pads. 6'3, and 229 pounds with noticeable muscle definition in his upper body and a 77" wingspan, Tiry posted back-to-back 4.6 shuttles and was a handful for opposing OL during 1v1s. Uses his length and post arm consistently and effectively, could go speed to power, was consistent in his hand placement, and won reps in a variety of ways on Tuesday. Made things look too easy at times.

[player_tooltip player_id='348774' first='Tyler' last='Phillips'] (Cameron) 2025. OL/DL.

An All-Region kid on both sides of the line for Cameron, Phillips was one of the more consistent eye catchers throughout the UWEC OL/DL Mega Camp. Noticeable size at 6'2 and a quarter and 322 pounds, Phillips carried the weight and moved well, clocking a 4.85 and 4.95 shuttle and a 1.33 flying 10. Unbeatable in the board drill, reach drill, and basically anything related to the run game, his power, strength, and size were overwhelming at the point of attack. He also displayed heavy hands, was laterally quick and balanced, and had a bit of a nasty streak to him too. Good showing from the Cameron native in Eau Claire.

[player_tooltip player_id='1080734' first='Mickael' last='Byrd'] (Rich Township, IL) 2025. DE.

Chicagoland was represented well in Eau Claire, and Rich Township rising senior DE [player_tooltip player_id='1080734' first='Mickael' last='Byrd'] had a strong showing throughout the day of competition and especially during 1v1s. 6'2, 225 pounds, 4.7s in the shuttle, and 75" arms, he used his length very well all day and could quickly disengage from blocks and shed hands. Also won with his explosive get off and bend. No offers yet for Byrd, that should change soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='383775' first='Deondre' last='Bournes'] (Wausau West) 2025. DT.

Wausau West standout DT Bournes was a favorite of both scouts and college coaches alike. Great production as a junior and he showed why yesterday in Eau Claire. Showed some twitch, froze blockers with his punch and strong when he locked his arms out, Bournes also displayed a powerful base, bend, and active hands. Not the tallest DT prospect, but the naturally low pad level, understanding of leverage, strengthened by his wrestling background, and large lower body made him very hard for offensive linemen to try and corral. Bournes won a lot of reps yesterday in Eau Claire.

[player_tooltip player_id='395829' first='Logan' last='Carlson'] (Chisago Lakes, MN) 2025. OL.

A stock-riser from my home state of Minnesota, Chisago Lakes OL prospect [player_tooltip player_id='395829' first='Logan' last='Carlson'] was fun to watch yesterday in Eau Claire. Rocked a neck roll, was letting the belly freely hang, and was a beast at the point of attack. Noticeable and audible pop when he put his pads on an opponent, great leg drive, balanced and showed off quick, light feet, and was flattening kids during the board drill and run blocking setting. I saw him crush a couple kids yesterday in Eau Claire and he left a lasting impression after his performance at yesterday's inaugural Blugold OL/DL Mega Camp.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201991' first='Anaise' last='Dotson'] (Minneapolis North, MN) 2025. DL.

Not the tallest DL in attendance (5'11, 240), but undoubtedly one of the most athletic. Posted one of the better testing performances at the Blugold OL/DL Mega Camp, 78" wingspan and went 1.19 and 1.2 in the Flying 10 and 4.55 and 4.65 in the shuttle. Not only did the 612 product have a great showing during testing, he absolutely showed out during 1v1s. Between the three PRZ scouts in attendance, we barely saw Dotson lose a rep. Consistently the low man, Dotson had an explosive first step, could win with quickness or power, and showed a natural ability to create, recognize, and take advantage of opponents when they get off balance or out of position. Good understanding of leverage and how to exploit it. One of the most productive pass rushers in Minnesota last season and is poised for a big senior season with the Polars.

Top Performers

[player_tooltip player_id='1394947' first='Thomas' last='Lackey'] (Racine Case) 2025. DE.

75" arms on a 6'2, 208 lb. frame catches your attention, and Lackey was ultra quick and won a ton of reps with his get off and lateral ability. Had one of the better pass rush performances of any DL in attendance at the Blugold OL/DL Mega Camp and opponents had a hard time handling his quickness, speed, and length.

Turner McManigal (Hartford Union) 2025. DE.

Exciting 77" wingspan on a 6'1, 245 lb. build, McManigal really showed off his power during run blocking drills and the board drill. Leg drive was great and I watched him nearly topple a couple of opponents over on the board drill. Also showed some twitch and was able to bend at the top of the arc. Got some good Ws throughout the 1v1 portions of the Blugold OL/DL Mega Camp.

Cooper Omelian (Menomonee Falls) 2025. OL.

Not the biggest OL prospect in attendance, but Omelian's physicality, pop, and aggression caught my attention and helped him win more than his fair of reps during 1v1s. Strong kid, good hand placement, and noticeable effort post-contact to win and finish reps well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1209397' first='Konnar' last='Johnston'] (Mondovi) 2025. OL.

Nearly 6'2 and over 230 pounds with 77.5" wingspan, Johnston's length was as noticeable as it was effective. I also liked his strength and impressive pop at the point of attack. Good showing throughout the day of action.

[player_tooltip player_id='1209863' first='Parker' last='Ray'] (Prospect, IL) 2025. DE.

Almost 6'3 and 200 pounds with 75" arms, Ray has a ton of room to fill in and knew how to use his length to his advantage in pass rush situations. Did a great job of staying consistent and effective with his hand placement as well.

Shawn Crouch (Spring Grove, MN) 2025. OL.

Small school Minnesotan was one of the biggest and most eye-catching prospects in attendance, measuring in at 6'4, 300 pounds and displaying a huge lower body and tree trunks for legs that really helped anchor his base when he set his feet and dropped his hips. Good balance for a bigger OL prospect as well.

Luke Czerwinski (Carl Sandburg, IL) 2025. OC/DT.

Carl Sandburg in Illinois has been home to its fair share of high-quality OL, and I liked rising senior two-way lineman Czerwinski's physicality, toughness, and quick get off. Could play on either side of the ball in college.

[player_tooltip player_id='1209480' first='Patrick' last='Bokowski'] (Brookfield Central) 2025. OC/DL.

Good size (6'2.5, 242 pounds), three-phase contributor who could play OC, DL, and long snap at the next level. Multi-sport athlete and that background showed up in his general mobility and change of direction skills. Quick (4.89 and 4.85 shuttle), and strong enough to move some bigger bodies in 1v1 settings. Coachable and competitive as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='1380117' first='Nolan' last='Kummer'] (Ellsworth) 2025. DL.

6'1, 270 lb. DL prospect from Western Wisconsin showed some real-deal twitch for an interior DL prospect. Went to work during pass pro work and I saw him earn some impressive wins throughout the closing portion of competition. Good get off and first step as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='942706' first='Brady' last='Schauer'] (Sun Prairie East) 2025. DL.

Nearly 300 pounds and with 74.25" inch wingspan, Schauer sports a big, powerful frame and knows how to use it. Got some good wins during pass pro 1v1s thanks to his power rushes.

[player_tooltip player_id='707668' first='Thomas' last='Medley'] (Nathan Hale) 2025. DL.

One of the quicker defensive linemen in attendance, Medley earned some "ooos" and "ahhhs" during pass pro 1v1s with a couple of dominant, ankle-breaking wins in impressive fashion. One of the biggest winners from the pass pro portion of 1v1s.

[player_tooltip player_id='1394912' first='Charlie' last='Cayley'] (Wausau East) 2025. OT.

One the most eye-catching OL prospects in attendance at the Blugolds OL/DL Mega Camp, Cayley measured in at nearly 6'5 and at 246 pounds, and owns a 76.75" inch wingspan along with some impressive quickness, going to 4.75 in the shuttle. His length could easily keep rushers at bay, and he showed good timing and strength in his initial punch. Also was one of the better finishers from the OL group and put some defenders into the turf in emphatic fashion during 1v1s. Could grow into a monster at the college level and shows obvious scholarship talent and ability. Really liked the combination of physical tools and competitiveness.

Connor Korte-Stolen (Brookfield Central) 2025. OT.

Massive rising senior whose size was quite the eye-catcher. 6'5, 301 pounds, and showed off a ton of strength once he got his hands on an opponent. Great base and showed some bend for a big guy as well.

Joe Pettit (Geneva, IL) 2025. DL.

Land of Lincoln product wasn't the biggest, but he owns a nearly 74" wingspan and some exciting quickness at 245 pounds, running a 4.61 and 4.59 shuttle. The quickness showed up during 1v1s, and I also liked Pettit's effectiveness at using his hands to shed blocks. Send a few OL flat onto their fact when they got over their toes and could recognize and utilize leverage to his advantage.
