San Diego St. continued to add local talent by picking up a commitment from one of the top WR/DBs in the county. Cardwell added 10 D-I offers since his productive junior season in which he totaled 400 receiving yards and 5 TDs on offense and 2 INTs on defense. He's an athletic two-way player with the burst, ball skills, and instincts to develop into a high-impact playmaker in the secondary at the next level. Cardwell chose the Aztecs over other offers from Arizona, Boise St., and NAU among others.
