When you rank over 600 plus kids their are bound to be reactions. Who are some kids we missed out on? Whose ranking didn’t do them justice, I have a few below:
Back healthy Osbourn’s Keon Maestas Keon Maestas 5'8" | 150 lbs | ATH Osbourn | 2026 State VA is prime to be one of the best athletes in not just Prince William County but all of Virginia. Playing a variety of positions including receiver, running back, corner and safety for the Eagles, Maestas can score from any point on the field.
Despite missing much of his sophomore season the hype hasn’t slowed for his recruiting he just picked up his first Division 1 offer from Old Dominion!
Highlights
Recently announcing his transfer to power house Saint Michael The Archangel, lineman Pharez Sanders Pharez Sanders 6'0" | 248 lbs | OL Saint Michael The Archangel | 2026 State VA is coming along nicely. A stout tackle for the Gar Field Red Wolves last season, Sanders can move inside potentially with his new school and honestly take off.
His pass blocking is solid but he really excels in the run game, a quick first step he can maul his defenders.

I know I may come across as a Battlefield homer when I write on a player on nearly every article, but kids like Luke Hatfield Luke Hatfield OL Battlefield | 2026 State VA are too good pass up.
Playing guard for the Bobcats dynamic offense a season ago, Hatfield is underrated on a team full of all stars. He is 6’4 and 270 lbs. an excellent pass and run blocker who is just downright knocking dudes around all over the field. His ranking doesn’t do him proper service (its more of the position group very deep class) he will be a division 1 football player when all is said and done.

A dual threat quarterback who really does have a cannon, Independence

is legit. Throwing a very accurate deep ball, the Tigers have a potential FBS star on their hands. Really like the way he throws on the run too, do not be surprised to see his touchdown passes double this year.

The Fairfax Lions have one of the most underrated hidden gems in defensive lineman Davon Tolson Jr. Davon Tolson Jr. 5'11" | 210 lbs | DL Fairfax | 2026 State VA , he is good! Earning second team all conference honors for both his work at defensive end and offensive guard, Tolson is a pit bull. Playing big than his size 5’11 and 230 lbs., he is typically pancaking defenders down the field with the Lions strong run game.
He is not on many people’s radar yet but with a good junior season and more summer recruiting to go, expect that to change drastically.
