Fairfax’s Davon Tolson missed some time early in the season with an injury but he came on strong and was the Occocoquan Region Defensive player of the year. For the past three seasons Tolson has made plays along the Lions defensive line and this year he did more work at the middle linebacker spot. He is so swift to the ball and too strong and physical for most lineman to block him. The way he reacts to the football I can see why Fairfax had him roaming the middle of their defense more this year. It showed his versatility and that he can play multiple positions.

My dude Davon Tolson is a menace at both guard and defensive end for the Lions. The two time All Patriot Selection is back for his final season. Tolson has performed well along their defensive line but also at linebacker, his range meets no end. Personally I think he is a linebacker at the next level, but I will be curious to see him rushing the passer more this fall. Lining him up alongside with a slew of sack specialists, the Lions could pose the best defensive line in the region.

Davon Tolson is a two-time All District linemen, he really gets after it up front on both sides. Where the Lions will need him the most will be on defensive line where his opponent has some stalwarts. Tolson has great quickness and strength, he will need to active early and often.

Very quietly over in Fairfax Friday night the Lions handled business against West Potomac and Tolson was downright unblock able. Notching two sacks and many tackles for losses (I honesty lost count) Tolson was outstanding in the Lions bounce back win.

Tolson lives in the opponents backfield and is off to a great start in his junior season. Facing a stout offensive line will be a true test for the the Lions front 7, can Tolson and company hold up? Tolson gets off the ball quickly and has speed off the outside making it difficult for opponents to get the edge on him. Again Lake Braddock’s oline may be the best he has face this season, if he holds up well, this will only favor Fairfax more.

Do not know how I missed this talent but Fairfax has a bull of a linemen in Davon Tolson. He is a mean force at guard for the Lions and his footwork is picture perfect, you can see the fear defenders have when he is coming around for a kick out block. He is one of the stronger linemen in the conference and is pain to try and hold up on the defensive line. Tolson is a name you want to remember for the next couple of seasons, he is going to do big things.
