The talent is Wisconsin is spread all across the state, and it isn't just within the bigger schools and deeper rosters. There are several athletes in the Prep Redzone Wisconsin Rankings coming from Division 5, 6, or 7. Unfortunately, sometimes those smaller schools don't get quite as much shine as their talent deserves. To help ensure they get that spotlight we are going to highlight those athletes and watch through their film today to see what they have to offer.

He already has years of productive experience on varsity. His combination of versatility within the safety position, athletic profile, and physicality are hard to find at the HS level. One of the most valuable things a safety can do is be reliable in the three main areas of the position. Can you fill against the run from the safety position because of your range? Can you line up in the box and navigate the trash to stop the run? Do you have the football IQ and range to be able to fly around the back end of the defense reading the QB and disrupting passes? Lastly, do you have the quick feet and hips plus the reactive athleticism to be able to play man to man coverage? Tait is one of the few safeties who can be trusted in those roles. His 4.5 40 and 36u0022 vertical illustrate his long speed and explosiveness. Add is hard hitting tackling that opponents wake up feeling the next day and you get an impressive safety prospect. He holds offers from Mankato, Winona State, and Duluth so far. Check out his best plays in the tweet below.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664f9c743bd4d"} /-->

Madden is quickly becoming the steal of this group. He is a highly productive athlete with a skill set that will easily translate to the next level. The Top 10 WR in the state is a terrible matchup for defenses. His 11.03 track speed shines on the football field as he quickly stacks CBs and pulls away down the sideline for huge plays. He has a 38u0022 vertical to help demonstrated how quick he can get off the line and go up and get the football over defenders. Madden has the body control to be able to run crisp routes with the suddenness into his breaks that lead to huge space between him and the DB for the QB to target. After the catch Mahr can be a slippery runner, and overall is a big play waiting to happen. That is supported by his 21.4 yards per reception average of the 2023 season. All that explosives athleticism comes in a 6'2u0022 185 lbs frame. The standout WR is looking for that first offer. [player_tooltip player_id='685849' first='Logan' last='Jerome'] is an impressive athlete on the hoof. He checks in at 6'5u0022 200 lbs with next level traits from top to bottom. Logan plays with poise, keeping his eyes downfield, not panicking in the face of pressure, and does a great job feeling where to slide to buy time in the pocket or escape it. His right arm has the power to be able to drive the ball deep downfield in rhythm or off platform. What separates him from other big arms is the pinpoint accuracy. Sure they are highlights, but Logan has so many examples of him fitting the ball into tiny windows all over the field. He has a great frame, necessary arm talent, and mobility to win from the pocket and outside the pocket. Logan recently earned his first offer from UW- River Falls. I expect several other schools to join them once he gets out to camps this summer.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664f9c743bdf5"} /-->

The 6'1u0022 200 lbs QB is very productive and efficient. He is responsible for a large chunk of the team's offensive output and delivers on a weekly basis. While he may not have the elite size Wade has found ways to play to his strengths. First and foremost is by continuing to work to be extremely mechanically sound. Every rep from the pocket looks the same from his feet to his release. That consistency and attention to detail has made his an extremely accurate passer to every level of the field. He finished 2023 completing 70% of his passes on nearly 300 attempts. Those mechanics allow him to maximize the velocity he puts on the ball as well, and that helps open up every level of the field for him as well. Lindahl definitely needs more eyes on him. He is on the hunt for that first offer. Check out the film and get eyes on him during camp season.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664f9c743be39"} /-->

Carter is going to start catching eyes this summer and fall from the next level. He has built a powerful frame that is well filled out with very little bad weight. There is plenty of room to continue to add bulk. The sophomore jumped off the tape with his run blocking. He has excellent flexibility in his ankles and his knees. That allows him to easily win the leverage battle. Add in next level strength and you get an underclassman IOL who was able to easily reset the line of scrimmage downfield. Carter has excellent athleticism too. He is quick out of his stance to get hands on. We also see the ability to pull and deliver big, gap clearing blocks in those scenarios. Carter is going to be a popular prospect this time next year when his class really takes the forefront in recruiting.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations":1,"_player_evaluations":"field_62aba7547dc44"},"mode":"preview","alignText":"left","anchor":"acf-block-664f9c743be7b"} /-->

Breckin is a massive prospect at 6'3u0022 295 lbs. The OG already looks like a seasoned veteran on the OL. He fires out of his stance in the run game with a wide base and uses very heavy hands to control his opponent. Breckin is able to create so much power on contact to instantly get positive movement and he also has that mean streak to bury kids in the dirt. Hullopeter is an unfair matchup in the trenches. He is big, strong, athletic and has the mentality to set the tone in the trenches. I'm excited to watch him this fall. A 2026 to know is the 6'4u0022 185 lbs athlete. The tape gets me excited for this fall to see how he has improved. Brock was slinging it all over the field in 2023 with confidence. He pushed the ball downfield aggressively with impressive touch and ball placement. Despite the long frame, Brock has solid foot quickness in the pocket and he has the athleticism to be a threat to the defense with his legs. On the short to intermediate throws, Brock has the ability to drive the ball on a frozen rope with no air under the ball. If he wants it there right now he can get it there. The dual threat QB led his team to a 12-1 record as a sophomore in 2023. I'm pumped for the encore to that performance. As a sophomore we saw the 5'11u0022 200 lbs LB be a tone setter with his physicality while also demonstrating three down abilities. Carter is a powerful athlete with the much needed lateral agility, change of direction, and speed to be able to be an impact all over the field. Against the run Heike was quick to trigger downhill with a strong burst that transferred into his hits. He did a great job of reading the flow of plays and moving with that flow to meet the RB at the line. What has helped the sophomore stand out is his play in space and in coverage. Carter is able to easily change direction and slide around his zone as he reads the QB. He has the range needed to cover space or run with TEs/RBs. Carter is still able to pack a punch when tackling in space too. Get this kid on your radars. He is a playmaker for Mondovi. A team no stranger to talented athletes.
