One of the favorites to lead the state in receiving yards, and more, is

. It is another perfect scenario where multiple contributing factors are going to work to his advantage. First, Madden will be back with his QB from 2023 so the rapport will be there. Second, Mahr has already proven he can put up big numbers with his 1,000+ yards as a junior. Third, Madden has proven that his athletic tools are too much to handle for most if not all of the Division 5 DBs that he faces throughout the year. I’m expecting him to end his HS career with a very productive campaign.

has done a good job of raising his football recruiting stock thanks to some impressive track times posted this spring. Mahr set a new school record in the 200M dash in May, posting a 22.22 time, and added eye-catching 100M times of 11.19, 11.18, 11.17, 11.05, and 11.03 for a very solid junior season out on the track. This past indoor season he also added a 6.56 55M dash for good measure.
Surprisingly, no offers yet for the rising senior, but plenty of schools are involved, especially from the Northern Sun and Missouri Valley, who have long benefitted from talented gridiron weapons from the Badger State. Mahr, a First Team All-Conference, All-Region, and All-State HM WR selection in 2023, posted 54 receptions for 1,158 yards (21.4 YPC), and 14 receiving TDs, as well as four (!) kickoff return touchdowns as a junior. Mahr is able to take the top off the defense and burn man and zone coverage alike, as well as blow by defenders and leave them grasping at air after the catch. He displays contested catch ability, plays the ball well in the air and has noticeable high-point expertise, and is a productive red zone target who uses his combination of height, length, and bounce to consistently win on fades and 50/50 balls. Multi-phase contributing ability, especially on special teams, where Mahr boasts one of the best kickoff return production and ability in the entire Upper Midwest, has been translating very well to success at the collegiate level, and Mahr is an absolute problem as a returner. He shows off explosiveness and playmaking ability in droves, and can take advantage of the slightest of seams in a coverage team and finish big returns once he gets the edge. Can’t believe he doesn’t have an offer yet, someone is going to get a baller!

You don’t have to go far to find the next small school stud. Madden is quickly becoming the steal of this group. He is a highly productive athlete with a skill set that will easily translate to the next level. The Top 10 WR in the state is a terrible matchup for defenses. His 11.03 track speed shines on the football field as he quickly stacks CBs and pulls away down the sideline for huge plays. He has a 38″ vertical to help demonstrated how quick he can get off the line and go up and get the football over defenders. Madden has the body control to be able to run crisp routes with the suddenness into his breaks that lead to huge space between him and the DB for the QB to target. After the catch Mahr can be a slippery runner, and overall is a big play waiting to happen. That is supported by his 21.4 yards per reception average of the 2023 season. All that explosives athleticism comes in a 6’2″ 185 lbs frame. The standout WR is looking for that first offer. Don’t sleep on him.

Wisconsin’s most productive receiver returning in 2024 is also one of its most talented in the Class of 2025. Madden looks the part of a high end WR on tape. He has a 6’2″ 180 lbs frame that is packed with explosive athleticism. Madden has the pure speed to stretch the field, agility to make DBs miss in space, body control to run crisp routes, and the junior tracks the ball well. Madden finished 2024 with 1,158 receiving yards. Good for 2nd most in the state. Expect him to be in the race for that #1 spot this fall.

One of WI’s berakout junior has been making the rounds this winter. He was at the PRZ WI Showcase two week ago, and he also made his way over to the MN Showcase. Mahr dominated the testing portion. The 6’1″1 73 lbs WR ran a 4.66 40, 4.47 shuttle, 9’7″ & 9’11” broad jumps, and a blazing 6.96 L-Drill. Mahr has a very well rounded game. He has size to line up inside or outside. He proved that he can take the top off the defense or win with quickness and route running from the slot. The balance Madden shows while running routes has him already looking like a need to know prospect, and he still has a year of HS ball ahead of him. The production on the field is already there too, posting 1,000+ receiving yards in 2023. This is a kid you are going to want to get on campus and in camp this spring/summer.

Mahr is a 6’1, 172 lb wide receiver from Stanley-Boyd High School. Especially considering his size, Mahr’s testing numbers were beyond exceptional. The junior posted a 4.65 40 yard dash, a 7.00 L-drill, and a 9’10 broad jump. This athleticism also stood out in drill work and 1-on-1’s, as Mahr was one of the smoothest wide receivers at the camp. He dominated his matchups, showing up as one of the toughest wide receivers to guard. As he heads towards his senior campaign, Mahr’s stock is on the rise.
