Been quite a long time since we last checked in on [player_tooltip player_id='388095' first='Kevin' last='Brown']. Brown is the leading candidate to take over the number one spot on our rankings this coming update, yet the debate as to who deserves it most is still being discussed among colleagues each passing day.

March was the month that answered a glaring question. Why hadn't [player_tooltip player_id='388095' first='Kevin' last='Brown'], despite carrying the best tape in the state, not seen back scholarship opportunities from the SEC? March came along with offers out of Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and Notre Dame. I admittedly withheld Brown from taking the one spot on our ranks because of the lack of SEC interest, I was wrong on this and should have trusted my eyes and gut. Won't be making that mistake again. Tape so good anyone's mother could scout this elite talent. In April, Tennessee and Miami pulled the trigger on the Harrisburg product. Come just last week, Kentucky came through the building to throw their name in the Brown hat. Expect Brown to reach 30+ offers before September comes around.

Back on April 21st, a little over a month before this posting, Dallastown's [player_tooltip player_id='142837' first='Michael' last='Scott'] announced he had trimmed his list down to seven schools, those seven lucky to retain Scott's interest being Liberty, Old Dominion, West Virginia, Pitt, James Madison, Arizona State, and Toledo. Arizona State coming through late and landing among Scott's "Top 7" is noteworthy. Scott has a real chance of landing as the state's top wideout after this next update, I could make the case that that should have been done four months ago during out latest update.

Scott took an official visit to Arizona State on April 22nd, then proceeded to rack up scholarship opportunities. Delaware and Kentucky threw their names in the Scott hat, with the Kentucky offer coming as a re-offering, this is likely to hold some kind of weight. Before time of writing, Scott announced an announcement is looming. I will be congratulating Scott no matter his future intentions, as excited as one can be for his future.

Talking to important figures/coaches in the recruiting world, Sidwar's sophomore tape likely closed the gap between he and Roman Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='386284' first='Semaj' last='Beals'] for the state's top-ranked 2026 QB honor. Both, rankings aside, are other-worldy prospects in their own right, yet it seems Sidwar has made next-level decision-makers a bit more comfortable pulling the scholarship trigger. I will reflect this come rankings update time.

Sidwar picked heat back up after Rutgers came through the building to offer Sidwar, with South Florida, Indiana, and West Virginia following suit in the same month. We are beginning to see Sidwar's recruiting ceiling/floor via scholarship opps, yet I'm inclined to believe he has a real shot at hearing back from the best ACC and BIG10 programs recruiting the Northeast. His ceiling has not yet been hit.

We graded and provided early exposure to Reading's [player_tooltip player_id='598742' first='Keyshawn' last='Efese'], whose sophomore and junior tapes warranted early offer opportunities. Like I predicted, they came, a bit later than expected, however. 6'5.5, 300 pounds, 7'1 wingspan. I preach patience to so many prospects, I expressed the same with this OL. No offers in January, yet many coaches told me he was on radar. Had Efese attended our PRZ Combine Series camp, he likely would have taken home offers from each of the D1s in attendance, many wanted him to show.

Currently holds offers out of Towson, Bryant, Howard, and Maine University. Likely an FCS tackle prospect with measurable upside to be a take at the G5 level. Will likely rank back into the 50-75 range next update, we will see.

I have no problem announcing when I hit on a prospect, I have no problem announcing when I miss on one either. My last grade on Fileppo, although it being a good one, flat-out didn't do his talents justice. Based on recruiting trends alone, Fileppo deserves to be inside the PRZ PA 2025 Top 30, easily.

6'3, 210, a verified 10.9 100m, a verified 21.7 200m as well, incredible numbers for the La Salle DB. Announced on April 4th his intention to sign with James Madison, committing to the program earlier than many expected. Once seen as an FCS floor, G5 ceiling type of prospect, track numbers likely have Power Four programs rethinking their previous grades, much like myself. West Virginia, South Florida, and Purdue all extended post-commitment offers to Fileppo in hopes of flipping the PCL safety.

Not much to add after our last update on USO's [player_tooltip player_id='386109' first='Xair' last='Stevenson'] after the Central State offer. Since, the top five-two prospect has secured offers from Youngstown State, New Hampshire, and Lincoln (D2 HBCU). The question surrounding Stevenson is an easy one to identify, a bit tougher to answer. Is he an FCS or Group of Five FBS player? Will he pan out at a Toledo/Temple/Akron, or is he best suited for FCS play locally? Either way, special player to bring in.
