Continue ReadingGuess ran a 40-yard dash in the 4.6 range and was making excellent throws consistently during the event.
His arm strength has improved greatly over the past two years and colleges are starting to notice. UC Davis offered him recently.
Guess had some zip on the shorter throws and nice touch on the deeper ones.

Thomas has a smooth throwing motion and the ball jumps out of his hand.
His footwork looked smooth in the individual drills and he had some serious zip on the short and intermediate throws.

JSerra had two quarterbacks compete at the event and both looked very good in moments.
Hopkins showed good arm strength and had great touch on the deep passes. He is strong and I’m sure he tested well in the speed drills.

Smith-Mayall is smaller than Hopkins and a year younger but he also showed plus arm strength and a nice release.
During one-on-ones he hit receivers in stride and got the ball out on time. JSerra has two quarterbacks who could start at the varsity level which is a good problem to have.

I’ve seen Jaylen Patterson Jaylen Patterson 6’3″ | 180 lbs | QB San Jacinto | 2025 State CA three or four times this offseason and Sunday was the best I’ve seen him.
He showed flashes at the Elite 11 and Prep Redzone Showcase, but he was most consistent on Sunday.
His release is smooth and he can whip the ball down the field with ease. He’s one of the better athletes among the quarterbacks in attendance and went through the drills smoothly.
Multiple receivers were complimenting Patterson on his throws after their routes.

Fuiava was one of the biggest quarterbacks in attendance and delivered during one-on-ones.
His accuracy is sharp on deep balls and the intermediate throws. He had one of the better arms of the day and his footwork was solid during the individual drills.

One of the coaches mentioned Patino as a top performer in the 2027 class and I could see why.
His release is a little unorthodox and slow, but the ball comes out of his hand well and he was very accurate.
Patino was playing with confidence and worked well with the receivers that he had just met.

Benitez was the MVP of the Prep Redzone Combine Series last month and followed it with a good performance on Sunday.
He looked fast during the speed drills and he has some serious zip on his throws. On the short routes, he got the ball out at the right time and has a nice release.
Highlights
Lewis threw some of the best balls of the day and his spiral was always tight on every rep.
He can fit the ball into tight windows with his arm strength and he is having an excellent offseason.
