With that strength being packed into a lighter frame, St John still holds incredible quickness that most of the offensive linemen just couldn't keep up with. Using his strong hands both actively and aggressively, St John was one of the stars of the day and ended up taking home one of the MVPs. (Just one-hundredth of a second faster than [player_tooltip player_id='1153007' first='Yos' last='Aunese'], who finished in 5.02 seconds.) Using his 78-inch wingspan, his length played to his advantage in 1-on-1's, he was able to sit back on his strong base and keep defenders at arm's length for most of the day.
