2028 Rankings Update: Prospects Ranked 5-10

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Take a look at the AZ 2028 prospects ranked 5-10 overall in the updated PRZ state rankings.</h2>    The 6'1” 170 lb. CB out of Desert Edge lands at #6 overall and just behind his teammate as the #2 DB in the 2028 class. He's a true shutdown corner that operate on an island and contain top level competition at WR. Physical with his hands in coverage and as a tackler. Shows excellent twitch and fluidity to mirror receivers in the short area. Transitional speed and reactionary quickness allow him to eliminate separation and close throwing lanes. Wide skillset to play any position in the secondary and excels in both press and off coverage. National recruit with 14 D1 offers.      Hill lands at #7 and is an intriguing prospect with the versatility to play both TE and WR. Has all the traits of a major D1 TE with a 6'4” 205 lb. frame but plays like a WR. He works all areas of the field from multiple alignments with smooth, natural ability, from his route running to his ball skills. After the catch, he combines his strength and speed to run through secondary defenders and create explosive plays. A true weapon in the redzone/jump ball weapon that can compete and win at the high point in contested situations. Holds eight D1 offers to date.      Sculley had a breakout year throwing for 2,947 yards and 41 touchdowns as a sophomore starter for one of the top programs in the state leading him to being selected Second Team All-American by Maxpreps. At 6'3” 175 lbs. he shows an advanced command for the position and the offense. Combines his natural ability with high level technical ability/mechanics. Stays in rhythm in the pocket and smooth arm action to put the ball in precise locations all over the field. Shows quick processing and can improvise/escape when protection breaks down. Jumped 17 spots to #8 overall and is the top ranked QB in the updated PRZ rankings.      High-level safety ranked #9 in the state with excellent instincts and range. Reads plays quickly, closes in tight spaces, and consistently makes tackles in the run game. Strong in coverage with the ability to read/feel route concepts, play with good eye discipline, and locate the ball in the air. Like his recovery speed and how quickly he can close separation to cover the whole field. Eight D1 offers with half of them coming in the recent contact period including Oklahoma, Iowa, Oregon State, and Kansas.      Little is one of the most versatile and explosive players in the state. On offense, he totaled over 1,700 scrimmage yards with 18 touchdowns rushing 330 yards and taking 60 receptions for 1,415 yards. Also added 47 tackles and five interceptions on defense. A true game changer with the speed and agility to flash in all phases of the game. He's a homerun threat every time he touches the ball and a matchup nightmare for opponents to contain. Holds two offers with his first P4 coming through this week from Oregon State. Expect many more to follow as he gains exposure.
