St. John totaled 8.5 sacks on the year and was a big contributor up front for the Open Division champs. He sizes up with a long 6’3″ 260lb frame and holds numerous division 1 offers. Excellent play strength with a relentless bull rush- and even at his size he finds a way to slip through gaps. Oftentimes showed the ability to fight through double teams with violent hands and active feet to blow up plays as well.

at the PRZ Arizona Combine during the offseason, I knew he was a player I should keep a close eye on as he continues to get more and more experience under his belt. After just his first three games of the season, I was already impressed with what I had seen:
Standing at 6’3″ 260 lbs going into his junior year, his size alone makes him a force in the run game. Adding in his strength and really refined footwork, he becomes an incredibly disruptive force against both the run and the pass. He possesses the kind of power that can completely blow up double teams and then has surprising quickness to make sure the quarterback can’t get away.
Now sitting with 7.5 sacks through the team’s first seven games, St. John is likely in for a busy offseason after he finishes helping the Lions defend their Open Division state championship.

The second pass rusher from Liberty’s roster to make the top four in sacks through the first three games, Paz St. John has all the tools to excel at the next level. I was fortunate to get eyes on him through the offseason at the PRZ Arizona Combine and you could tell then that St. John was in line for a big junior year. Standing at 6’3″ 260 lbs going into his junior year, his size alone makes him a force in the run game. With both Dunn and St. John attacking opposing quarterbacks, Liberty’s defensive front is going to give offensive coordinators nightmares.
Extremely blessed to receive a huge offer from @KU_Football !#AGTG

showed everyone at the event just why he already holds a division one offer from Sand Diego State before playing a snap in his junior season. At 6’2″ and 260 lbs, St John has a ton of strength for someone that size. He had no problems moving around bodies that much outweighed his own. With that strength being packed into a lighter frame, St John still holds incredible quickness that most of the offensive linemen just couldn’t keep up with. Using his strong hands both actively and aggressively, St John was one of the stars of the day and ended up taking home one of the MVPs. Playing for the defending open division state champs, be on the lookout for him to get even more division one attention throughout the 2024 season.

A lot to like about Paz’s skillset. At 6’3” 255 lbs. he’s got the size, length, athleticism, and growth potential colleges look for in DL prospects. He’s got great positional versatility to play multiple spots on the line and is extremely smart and savvy with his movement and ability to read blocks to anticipate where the play is going. Shows good command and technique of a variety of moves to beat blockers but can also use his strength and speed to disengage. Violent with his hands, does a good job using them to maintain separation and then shed. Love his aggressive and relentless playing style in combination with his effort to finish every play. Recently picked up his initial offer from San Diego State but first of many given his potential and upside.
