Film Room: Spring Evaluations Part 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>In this series, I'm going to be deep diving film on a bunch of prospects that I have either never evaluated, or evaluated a long time ago, and it's time for a refresh!</strong> <strong>Here in part 3 we have a good mix of positions and I'm just giving feedback based on what I see on their Hudl! </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:acf/evaluation-block {"name":"acf/evaluation-block","data":{"player_evaluations_0_player":["551271"],"_player_evaluations_0_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_0_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_0_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"I had known of Cole since the beginning of last year, and I did see him play in week 1, but what really made him pop out to me was his MVP performance at the Stock Up Showcase back in December. He moved well, did the positional drills the best, and did a fantastic job of being a leader by example. Checking his full body of work from this past season, I am feeling really good about Cole having a breakout 2024. Whether it's inside or outside the box, Cole has great quick feet and is athletic enough to go sideline to sideline. He's a physical tackler who wraps up well and does the fundamentals well. He's reactive and shows great pursuit of the ball. Some more weight room time and added size could make Cole one of the best LB prospects in his class.","_player_evaluations_0_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_1_player":["602104"],"_player_evaluations_1_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_1_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_1_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"Parkers social media now has him listed at over 230lbs which I love to see. His size will really help compliment his game, as he is a really solid pass rusher who displays the athleticism to get it done in pass rush situations. I would like to see him fire off the ball quicker and not let the defender get ahold of him easily, but I do like his size and mobility a ton. Parker is a hard worker by all accounts and I think if he could get to some camps this summer and take on some professional coaching from these college coaches, he could continue to make big gains as a player.","_player_evaluations_1_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_2_player":["568183"],"_player_evaluations_2_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_2_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_2_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"Eli is one of those offensive linemen that is really fun to watch a highlight reel of. He's a strong legged kid who can anchor down and rather than backing up, can sometimes just flat out take the rusher to the ground. On run plays, Eli can be seen getting up underneath the pads of his assignment, and driving him completely into no mans land, far from the play. His pure strength and overall agility makes Eli a threat to open up a huge running lane, and punish a defender or 2 in the process. The 2026 class is absolutely loaded on offensive linemen, and Eli is right in the mix as one of the top guys in this class!","_player_evaluations_2_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_3_player":["247694"],"_player_evaluations_3_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_3_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_3_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"I'm not really sure why James hasn't picked up the recruiting traction I am expecting, but I guess it's part of the job to beat the drum for these underrated kids, like James! First, his fundamentals are super solid. He throws hard, accurately, and can fit the ball in some tight windows. His footwork looks good, he stays balanced and seems really in control at all times. I'm not sure if he's being overlooked due to the size of his school or what, but I think any D3 team would be pumped to get him, and I think D2 schools should be doing their homework at least.","_player_evaluations_3_evaluation":"field_62aba51aecf34","player_evaluations_4_player":["1225709"],"_player_evaluations_4_player":"field_62ab9d62ecf2c","player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"","_player_evaluations_4_override_profile_image":"override-player-profile-image","player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"","_player_evaluations_4_not_in_database":"field_62aba48cecf2d","player_evaluations_4_evaluation":"Here's your 2 way player with a ton of potential! He's a tremendous route runner from the outside, and shows a nice ability to get open and free on demand. He breaks abruptly, and I think he does a nice job of having late hands and not tipping off the defender early if the DB isn't looking for the ball. He has thrived in the 7 on 7 scene, and has put so much work into his craft.
